Janet, have you seen the new way to share pictures on Flickr yet? I find that so annoying when doing a few pictures. One picture is ok, but not for more than one, you're constantly opening and closing little windows. Yuck.

Can we just tell our daughters to Stop Growing Up Right Now?? I was watching my 15-year-old today during dance photos and wishing with all my heart that I could freeze her at this moment and keep her like this forever.

Katie looks great. Blue is a great color for her.

Sigh. I'm totally with you on that. But I haven't found our "pause" button yet, let alone the stop button, so on we go..........

Thanks ArwenMarie. It's funny but all the way up to that night she kept saying she was going to wear her white Converse sneakers. I tried hard not to show too much of an opinion, although I really would have loved to buy her a pair of pretty shoes to go with the dress. I was pleasantly surprised to find her digging out the sandals just before leaving.

And that blue is my favorite color! She bought the dress without me along, so I had no idea what she'd come home with. She did great. I probably would have picked it for her if I had been along, which might have meant she would have passed on it...... So it all worked out great.

Unfortunately, that's not our house. It's an historic estate not far from here. I love taking the kids up there for photos. For years I shot Halloween photos there because they have such gorgeous Maple trees and a spooky looking wrought iron fence around the edge of the property.

Wow Katie sure is growing up to be a beautiful girl! Love the dress!
