Hi:

How can we get back to the Boardwalk from the Animal Kingdom Park without going through the Transportation Center. The instructions I have are take the Hollywood Studios bus, then take the boat back to the Boardwalk. Are these instructions correct?

Absolutely incorrect.

You take the Boardwalk resort bus from Animal Kingdom. I don't have a clue what those crazy other directions are referring to.

I have to ask, where did you get these instructions??? Yes, there are buses from both DHS and AK that go to the TTC, but you wouldn't take them if you were staying at a WDW resort.
Each resort has transportation to each park. There will be a bus from AK to BW. It will also stop at the S/D and possibly YC/BC.

Are you sure that wasn't for Animal Kingdom Lodge?

That was my thought. If you're at AKL, then taking the bus to DHS and then boating or walking to BW makes sense. Going to the TTC doesn't make any sense at all.

What I want is the easist way to get to the Boardwalk Villas from the Animal Kingdom Park - not from the lodge but the AKP. Two of my sisters are riding scooters and the fewer busses we have to get on and off the better.

Any help will be appreciated.

The bus, from AK to BW, is a direct bus. Just head out to the bus stops (#3 as already noted), and hop on. That bus goes directly to BW..possibly stopping at a few other resorts as well, but you don't have to get off.
There would not be any reason to go anywhere near TTC if going from AK.

The only thing to add is that the bus from AK to BW stops at all 4 other Epcot resorts before the BW.

Since it takes as long as 15 minutes to make the loop, and the Villas being closest to the Swan, you can save a few minutes if you get off the bus at the Swan and walk thru the lobby and across the bridge to the BWV. If you're tired of walking and you don't mind the extra 5-10 minutes, you're certainly welcome to stay on the bus.

I totally agree with the previous poster that it can take a long time to get to the BWV from AK (park) on the bus and that it can be a lot faster if you get off at the Swan and walk. Especially since our bus went from the park to one of the waterparks then to the hotels in this order (swan, dolphin, YC, BC, BWV), getting off at the Swan saved a ton of time. Although I want to add that you DO NOT HAVE to go through the lobby, although you can, just get off at the stop and go to the right on the sidewalk it connects to a path on your left that takes you around the Swan and over the bridge to the Boardwalk villas side, it is all sidewalks/paths so no issues for the ECVs and much much faster. We just got back from BWV and had a wonderful time I hope you do too.
