LILO & STITCH BEST FRIENDS BREAKFAST @ 'OHANA
i'm a huge stitch fan. i absolutely love stitch. he is just so dang cute. my sister went to tokyo disney & brought back some adorable stitch hair barrettes that emme wore to breakfast. stitch loved them!
we were seated at a table and devoured some tasty bread.
Assorted Warm Breakfast Breads
our server, tammy was one of the best servers i ever had at disney. she was very nice, attentive, had a great personality & genuinely loved her job. i wrote an email to disney about the exceptional service we received during this meal...but i digress.
tammy brought over some yummy juice to our table. this was identical to the POG (passion, orange & guava juice) i've had at tusker house for breakfast. i'm not really a juice person (i don't drink much juice or soda) but this juice is very tasty.
after some juice & much needed coffee (you get the entire pot), tammy brought over some fruit.
Seasonal Fruit Bowl for na Keiki (Kids)
emme loves watermelon so tammy brought an extra large bowl of watermelon for emme.
everything is served family style here.
Hua Paka (Scrambled Eggs) - made fresh, hot & delicious
Uala Kahiki (Fried Potatoes) - island-style potatoes, caramelized onions & scallions
Pua'a (Pork) - pork breakfast sausage links & smoked bacon
the eggs were your standard fake egg that are scrambled. i'm so not a fan of these eggs. whenever i see a real egg omelette at disney, i get very excited.
my favorite was the breakfast sausage links. they were very delectable. the bacon was once again the very sad & tragically limp bacon. the potatoes were nicely roasted but tasted even better with ketchup.
Mickey waffles
the waffles are served separate from the rest of the meal. i'm not a waffle fan but they are so very cute. emme ate one and she started with the ears. ha!
and emme had some friends visit us for breakfast:
and my favorite:
this meal is definitely character driven. we specifically went to see stitch & it was also nice to have breakfast served to us. most character meals are very chaotic as you don't want to miss a character while at the buffet cause once you miss a character, it's a total headache to see them again. in that aspect, it was very nice & a total treat to have the FOOD & the characters at the table.
the food wasn't stellar but for the most part, it was a good breakfast. there isn't much variety but like i said before, it's a definite character driven meal. would i eat there again? probably not unless i really wanted to see stitch & have a quiet "sit down" breakfast.
we did receive excellent service during this trip. it was also fantastic to see stitch. i love that little guy!
up next, DINNER @ BE OUR GUEST!
