hi

were back. had a fab time but glad to be home.

ill give you a quick overview of the highs and lows of the hol. obviously had way more highs but the lows tend to stick out more. haha

highs: the villa. will never stay in a hotel again unless on a city break.

lows: lost our disney and universal tickets

highs: ioa was amazing (havent been before)

lows: saw a little kid (aged around 5) climb over the rail and fall into the lagoon next to the hulk ride nearly killing himself in the process. my new saying is remember the story of the boy who climbed.

highs: had a cool huge people carrier

lows: crystal palace wasnt up to much

highs: rainforest cafe

lows: never seen so many badly behaved children in my life. not to mention badly behaved parents. have a funny story about this actually.

highs: spiderman ride

lows: planet hollywood (we loved this last year but this year it was way too busy and we were all crammed in like sardines).

not sure we picked the right time of year to go as last year we were spoilt with september crowds and to us nov was busy. have lots more to tell you but will save it till i have some more time. oh and dont forget if you have the biggest perm since 1982 sit in front of me and if you have a twitch in your leg and you cant stop it from swinging vigorously sit behind me. oh also if you see my family walking together then try to cut right in between us so you split us up.

love

lucy

Welcome back, are you jet lagged?

Loved your highs and lows, I did notice many american ladies still think hair should be in the style of Heart (girl group who sang 'Alone'), and perms are def 'big' in the states!! We (actually I!!) lost DH cap in the water below the hulk ride and its a long way down, poor child did someone jump in for him?

Anyway have a nice rest, and good luck with the washing and ironing!

Welcome home Lucy!

I always thought November was a quiet time, guess I am wrong there then!

Sounds like you had an excellent time anyway. Where was the villa, and how was the weather, when you are back on UK time ;)

Welcome home Lucy, thanks for your quick highs and lows and I look forward to hearing more about it :)

hi

the boy who fell in: someone jumped over and fished him out. i hate to say this but dd and i were so shocked we were just gawking at him. he was bleeding and had obviously hit his head. it was awful i couldnt shut up about it for the rest of the day.

miffy i think november is classed as quiet but it deffo wasnt as quiet as the previous september (like i say we were spoiled by that). we were looking and 15 mins wait and going "humph". lol. some queues got as long as 45 mins some days (we didnt queue) so we went back later.

while i have my second wind ill tell you my funny (sad) story. on thursday gone we went to queue for red fish blue fish (which we loved) and there was obviously a problem. there was an american woman (with perm) (sounded new yorkerish) at the front of the express queue shouting the odds at a poor crew member. she was being plain nasty to her in the end and very personal. i think the jist was that she thought she should be allowed on the ride there and then and shouldnt wait one second. the funny thing was the normal queue was shorter. anyway the poor crew member had to get security and this mad woman and her poor kids were escorted away. she made a total fool of herself and probly ruined her kids day. actually after typing that its not funny at all.

we also say a boy fill up his shoe with water from a fountain in the queue from red fish blue fish (we rode this alot) so dont drink from that. urrrrrgh

if i think of anything else ill let you know.

love

lucy

ps we honestly did have an amazing holiday.

Welcome home Lucy ~ Looking forward to a more detailed report :)

Thanks for the highs and lows :)

That is a scary story about the little boy :earseek:

ps we honestly did have an amazing holiday.

Common from that part of the country. I had one follow the menu from a restaurant down the line. Got to me and I told her there would be war if she went past me. We ended up passing the menu to the back of the line and someone asked her why she wasn't following it. With everyone shouting at her she gave up and left. With applauds.

Just to say that Red Fish blue Fish was down last week, not working at all on Friday :-(
Also one of the water rides looked like it had been closed for a while.
