Hello fellow Disers well another trip over for this year got back yesterday and had a great time , lovely weather lots of new experiences and a unplanned day at the magic kingdom which was fantastic as always .


Highs
Great weather hot hot hot
tour on a segway around celebration which was fantastic
High tea at the Grand Floridian
Meal at medieval times ( go on green knight)
spending time with my DH and DS even with his teenager mood swings

Lows
Delayed flight out by three hours
Son having a tummy upset on the travel day


Mega high

Getting to miami airport to check in to come home and being asked if we would mind staying another night as they had overbooked the flight , in comp they would put us up in a hotel , give us money for food and free roundtrip tickets for any where virgin fly , we jumped at the chance . We had to go back to check in at 7pm and check they still needed are seat to then be told that they where then going to fly us home the same day on BA and we also got Free flight tickets RESULT , dont think it will be long before I am on the phone to virgin booking our next trip now

Sounds like you had a fab trip

what a great deal from Virgin....I would also jump at the chance, especially as flights are so expensive

Make sure your flexible with the dates for your free flight as they only have a couple of seats on each flight

Excellent.That is great news. Glad you liked the high tea. I have just cancelled ours as having to pay OOP for our last 5 nights for food so trying to cut down a bit.Having done it before though it is lovely.
