Been home for a couple of hours, absolutely exhausted but had an amazing time. As per Dis custom, here are my highs and lows
Highs
We had such a great laugh, and in Paris as well afterwards. Full trip report to follow in the next few days with too many photos and too much detail, as ever.
EDIT to add this very important high that I can't believe I forgot - during the trip I found out I got a first class degree and Aimee found out she passed Diploma so she is officially a solicitor now! Incredible news, and very fitting to find out in DLP since the trip was to celebrate the end of uni. Made it even better!

Highs
My two newbie friends LOVED the Disney magic! From the first ten minutes, they were just in awe over everything, the detail, the rides - couldn't have hoped for a better reaction from them
The Sequoia Lodge - I had emailed a few days before to ask for a nice room near reception and ours was right by the door. Newly refurbished, stunning decor, robes, slippers, water, fresh flowers, chocolate coins, VIP breakfast pass and a birthday pin for my friend. Perfect!
Cast members - so many of them went out of their way to have a laugh with us that I couldn't fit them all on the Pluto form. I am going to email Disney with praise for a particular few because I think that's just as important as complaints. More details in trip report but they really made the holiday for us.
Shareholders discount and Salon Mickey, as ever. My friends loved feeling like VIPs too.
Crowds weren't bad, we didn't wait too long for anything except Crush but that's a given.
Cocktails and wine!Oh and meals too, no complaints at Blue Lagoon, Cafe Mickey or Annette's - will write up reviews soon.
BTM - always and forever my favourite ride! Closely followed by ToT.
Tarzan show! Incredible!
Lots of refurbs - Space Mountain, RC Racer, Orbitron and Parachutes all closed, as well as upstairs in castle and the treehouse and pirate ship. A bit of a shame for my friends to miss out on all these BUT I don't see this as a real low because I am happy to see DLP working on all these things.
RnRC (50% of the time) - we went on 4 times and twice there was no music AT ALL. Its horrible without it and really annoyed us as we had waited quite a while. When this ride is on form its amazing but its so unreliable.
Panoramagique being closed when the weather seemed fine, Aimee was dying to go on it.
The "Magical Moments Festival". Oh. Dear. The inclusion of Lightning McQueen in the stunt show is cringe worthy and kills the atmosphere, not even the kids enjoyed it. The hub show is pretty dreadful and the princesses have just been shoved in at the end for no reason. And the "happenings" are impossible to actually see, and seem to have resulted in no random characters wandering around either. The only characters we met were in Cafe Mickey.
