Back from Wonderland:wAlice,Madhatter,ChesCat&White Rabbit 11/11Thank You

WOW Simply WOW Patricia!! I'm definitely keeping you and David in my thoughts as you figure out whatever will be the best ventures for him as he continues his schooling!!!

I loved this update for so many reasons!!! I love DHS and I'm with you I just love the Great Movie Ride, doesn't matter how many times I have seen it I still love it like the first time!!! The clips get me everytime too!!!!

OOOH...Prince Caspian is such a charmer!! I definitely want to convince Leslie that we need to meet up with him again in January!!!! Those pictures look so cute of them together LOL!!!!!

Hmmm..Boma's sounds really good!! I'm glad you guys had such a great dinner there!!!!

Can't wait to hear more!!

Glad you guys enjoyed Caspian. :) We didn't do Narnia this time. Another thing we didn't do. Have you read the books? I know you love anything and everything that is book. I read the Narnia series for the first time when I was 10. Got the set for my birthday. I've read them countless times since. Love, love, love the books. The movies are okay. Wasn't as crazy about the second one.

We had a good time in Animation Academy. We all did it. All of us that were at the Studios. Will had a fit because he couldn't get his picture right (we were drawing Dopey) and ended up not finishing his. That's my perfectionist. Everyone else's came out decent (except Christian's, of course, but I still love what he did all by himself). Matt's was downright good. He's always been good at drawing.

Those cupcakes look good. Much better than the homemade one I just ate.

I totally know what you mean about hitting the wall. We hit that wall a lot. My plans were changed often. And we didn't do ToT or RnRC either. At all. Matt ALWAYS does ToT, and we both like RnRC, but it just didn't happen.

I hope you get to ride it next year.

Sorry about you missing out on your weekend away too. Gives you something else to look forward to. ;)

I'm interested to hear what happens at David's school. You are such an awesome advocate for him.

Looking forward to Sanaa. :thumbsup2

P.S. I'm with you on the Jedi thing. I get so upset at the counsel when I watch what they do to him and I know what's coming. Just makes me downright mad (It's just a movie!, I tell myself). Anakin was the chosen one (despite all that Luke does, he is the one to actually, physically, get rid of Palpatine), but there had to be other paths that could have led him to getting rid of Palpatine than the one he went down. There had to have been a better way. It breaks my heart even now thinking about it. It's just so so sad. :sad1:

I have never read the Narnia books which is really pretty strange...I'm pretty sure Em has them somewhere...I know the first time she tried them she didn't like them but when she went back to them...she did...oh this is great...I'm on a book buying freeze for a bit...:rolleyes1...I can read those...I don't know how I missed them...

A lot of people don't seem to know about AA-and it really is such a great thing to take 25 minutes to do...what a great memory and souvenir...Ooo...Dopey?-that's awesome...I hear you about the perfectionism...:sad2:...David want his stuff to all be perfect too...that's why I turned him on to modern art...cause there aren't as many "rules" and now he loves Picasso and thinks Cubism is a hoot...

The Cupcakes were good...but homemade always tastes the best...:thumbsup2

Oh boy did we hit the wall...I have to go back and analyze exactly why that happened...it was just pathetic...:confused3...but we had such a good time overall..just another reason to have to go back...

Thanks about David...he's so worth advocating for...so are all kids.:goodvibes..I really want to make a go of being an educational advocate full or at least 3/4 time...I have such a passion for it...and probably except for my own son...am able to see things objectively and have empathy for both kids & parents and teachers...(most teachers I've meant really do want to do the right thing...sometimes they are under ridiculous pressures from administration...ok I'm rambling...

Sanna is coming up...:thumbsup2

Basically Anakin got a really bad deal...(which does not excuse his subsequent behaviour but wow...they did not handle his situation well at all...:sad2:...It is really tragic...

Baileys and hot chocolate is my preferred escape. ;)

That sounds really good...and with the cold pelting rain we're having...I'd imagine that would hit the spot...

:goodvibes She's having a bit of a struggle right now but seems to be back on the upswing and having more good days than bad. I have to get her over to the Disney Store for sure while Snow White is front and centre. :thumbsup2

I'm glad to hear that things look like they are heading in the right direction for Ariana......Definitely check out the Dis store...let us know if you buy anything...

We thought we'd won the battle but in the last few days we've taken a few steps backwards again. The school has had to make some tough decisions regarding the distribution of their EAs amongst the special needs students and Ariana's EA has been tapped into to help two other students.

Wow-that's a lot for the EA and Ariana-is she supposed to have her own wrap?...

At a moments notice, her EA could be called away to assist the other students and Ariana has to stop what she's doing, leave the classroom with her EA and wait around. Then she goes back to her own classroom and hopefully picks up her work. Not exactly the structured setting she needs.....
That would be a rough situation for anyone yet alone someone on the Spectrum...:confused3...That is not ideal for her at all...I hope you can get them to rectify that...

Nope, wimps we are not. :yoda:

Nope-you have to have a backbone to be a mom-that's for sure...

I love your update! Alice and the Prince look like they're about to exchange vows! :bride:

Oh lord-I know it does look that way...but that isn't happening for quite some time...high school, college, etc. etc.

Adorable pics!

We wanted to go to that last year and never made it...

I really really want to do this next trip! Evan would eat it up!

Yikes. This is why I'm hoping to build in a pool break every day....

Nice snacks!

Definitely hit the Animation Academy-you will love it...:goodvibes...

A Pool Break everyday is such a good thing...I will never plan a trip that we don't break every day...(famous last words...)

Those cupcakes were pretty huh...they were really big and very tasty...you could probably split one amongst a family-well maybe not the 6 of you...but 3 or 4 ....

Great update! Sorry you didn't get to everything on your list at DHS, but like you said there's always next time!

Denise

Thanks Denise...yes I'm glad that WDW isn't going anywhere...takes the pressure off when you don't get to everything...:goodvibes

Yes, definitely queue up those Narnia movies. I loved the books also and read them to my kiddos when they were younger and I think they did a good job with the movies.

I hear you with the WDW summer heat wall. Suddenly all motivation to do even the most tempting activities is sapped away. Pool time, rest and refreshments are the Rx.

I love the picture of Alice comparing hand prints with Audrey Hepburn. Cool!

I'm definitely inspired to check out the Narnia series...they might be good read out louds for David too...:scratchin

I'm not a major heat girl...I don't usually notice it as much in Disney for some reason...:confused3...:lmao:...but this was mid-end August and it was wicked...I don't think that August would be my first choice for another trip or if we did go then it would have to be with the understanding that we would hit the parks first thing, have lunch- go back to the hotel and relax until dinner and the evening plans...

I love that she likes Audrey Hepburn...we've watched Roman Holiday, Sabrina, Funny Face together...(she has a poster of her in her room...:thumbsup2) I'd much rather her be comparing her hands with Audrey Hepburn than say Lindsey Lohan...ugghhh...(such a shame-she was such a cute little thing back in Parent Trap)

Oooh you got a cute Prince Caspian:love: I'm sure Alice loved every minute of it! If you remember from my trippie I found Caspain quite charming, and I think he looks to have gotten even better looking in the ensuing months;)
Great update!

Yes I remember well how smitten Wendy and you were with the Prince...and I can see why...:goodvibes...he was also a rather charming fellow...he had a cute accent too...;)

Wonderful update!

:lmao: The Prince Caspian experience is too funny! We've never done the Narnia attraction because we've never seen the movies. But now that DD and DS6 are a little older I think they may enjoy them!

We've also never done the animation studio! We've been through but never done the class! I know DD want to do it in 2 weeks!! I can't wait to see what her picture turns out like! She's a terrific artist!

Those cupcakes at Starring Rolls look yummy!!!! Too bad they were enough of a pick me up!

It great that you got a nice nap!! Obviously you needed it! Better to take a little snooze then get all exhausted!

You should check out the whole Narnia exhibit-if you are seeing the Prince...you get in a line for that and then they just let you get right in the line to see the exhibit...it's 2 separate lines...but you don't have to wait twice...the wait for Caspian was about 10 minutes and he was really cute with David too although honestly...it's all about the ladies...;) and then its about 10-15 minutes to do the Narnia exhibit/show...for us it was worth it...:thumbsup2

And the Animation Studio is fun because you get to go into this great little/medium room all set up with drafting/drawing tables...and even though this sounds corny you really kind of feel like you're an animator...and you learn something and get to take something home with you...your DD should have a blast...:goodvibes

Oh my gosh...a coffee and a half of a cupcake wasn't waking me up...I don't think anything would have at that point...I really did need that nap...I was much perkier the following day...:cool1:

Wonderful update! I can't wait for Up to come out on DVD. I haven't seen it yet but I think all the characters just look so cute.

Now I can tell you the thing I was most fascinated by the John Adams miniseries. THE TEETH! I loved how they aged them and you could tell they were getting older as their teeth got worse. It was fascinating to me. That is some very strong detail there!

I didn't see UP yet...:confused3...David went with his grandparents and they all loved it...:lovestruc I can't wait to see it either when it comes out...

Shout out for John Adams...well both the man and the mini series...:lmao:It was so amazingly well done...I love history and I've seen a lot of them and this was definitely amongst the best...

Now that you mention it-I did notice the teeth and wow-that's amazing because that's probably what did happen to everyone before we got the kind of dental care we know have available...its all those little details that they did that just added to the whole thing...and made it so amazing...I'm going through the book now...

BTW-David is going out for Halloween as George Washington...I believe you've got to start them young with history...:lmao:...(no John Adams costumes...not as many kids books either...Washington has more stuff for a kid to grab onto...Adams is more cerebral...We found this book about how Washington returned the British General Howe's dog to him after he found him after one of the battles...- apparently Washington was a huge animal and particularly dog lover-that combined with the false teeth thing and the fact that he was the FIRST President...well apparently David finds that a winning combination...;)

Hmmm..Boma's sounds really good!! I'm glad you guys had such a great dinner there!!!!

Can't wait to hear more!!

Thanks Jen...Mr. David has actually had some pretty good days this past week...I know we'll have bumps along the way but I also know he's an awesome little guy and it will all work out...

I love the Great Movie Ride...all of that old Hollywood movie stuff gets me...:lovestruc-I know I always tear up at the old movie clips...:confused3

Why doesn't LL want to meet Caspian...? Leslie go meet him -he's a charmer...:thumbsup2

Boma was good...it was the one meal though I kind of ate/slept-sleepily ate through though.//:upsidedow..I'm glad I had eaten there before though because I would have missed the finer details and its too good a restaurant not to fully experience...

I didn't see UP yet...:confused3...David went with his grandparents and they all loved it...:lovestruc I can't wait to see it either when it comes out...

Oh, please, please post pictures of David as George Washington! I think that is the greatest costume idea ever. It makes me want to make Marc dress up as John & Abigail Adams with me! ;)

Oh and I never said I wouldn't meet Prince Caspian.

I really need to catch up here before you start a weekend of DISing!!! So sorry that your anniversary weekend had to be postponed, but congratulation on your anniversary anyway!! :goodvibes

DHS was the park I fell in love with during my first trip. I just did not want to leave on my one day there... I will need to try to convince Katharina to go to the AA with me, I never was before. Also, I never had a cupcake at Starring Rolls, I seem to see pictures of them everywhere for some time now, but haven't seen them before. Perhaps they are new?? They are definitely on that list of possible treats - which I never know where to fit in with all those great meals anyway...

Looking forward to your Sanaa review, it looks like a lovely restaurant. Just somehow I find the menu a bit boring... :confused3

Hello! I've been enjoying your trip report emminsely! I don't know why I haven't posted yet (sometimes I get kind of shy ). You are so luck y to live on the east coast. I've always believed I'm an East Coast girl at heart. I love NYC and I really enjoyed your mini trip there on your way to the World. I've never doe the Radio City Music Hal tour, before, either, but after reading about it from you, I will certainly have to do that the next time I manage to get to New York. (Goodness knows when that will be).
I'm glad that you enjoyed the Sci-Fi diner, too. I've been there once, adn I don't remember anything about the service or food quality since I was still pretty young (probably middle school), but I do remember being mexmerized by the atmosphere. I've always love the movie Grease and am smitten with the whole fifties era and drive-ins and all, so I really like it. We're going again this next trip because I think the kids will like it. It's just fun.
As for the last update, I'm sorry you missed ToT and RNRC, but I'm glad you had the foresight and intuition to call it quits when you needed to. It's too easy to push ourselves too far in Disney World for the sake of sticking with the plan. And the Prince Caspian interraction is too cute. He does look like a very charming young man;). Looking forward to more!

Good update...cute pictures of David w/ the Up characters...Mae wanted to know why we didn't see them and thought the pictures of your cupcakes were cool...;)

Matt thought Prince Capsian looked like Adam Sandler...:rotfl:

but Alice looks just lovely w/ him....;)

Yes you should read and watch Narnia....we love the series here in our house...Michael has read just about the whole series himself! TLWnTW, was one of the first books Matt read to the kids when they were little. :thumbsup2

I was impressed by the exhibit too.

We'll reschedule our weekend-I'm planning on that...;)

DHS is a great park-especially if you love that old Hollywood vibe...and of course all the old films...you should definitely go to Animation Academy...think about what a great souvenir/memory for the two of you...

The cupcakes are huge...the size of a small child's head...you could probably split one...you have a lot of lovely meals planned and you want to pace yourselves...;)

Funny you should say that about Sanaa's menu because when I read it on line I was on the fence about it too but I really loved it when we got there...:thumbsup2

Welcome...
:welcome: thanks for reading along and coming out to play...:goodvibes

Yes living on the East Coast has some really nice advantages...especially if you're into history-which luckily for me I am (the traffic isn't always fun -...since we're outside Philadelphia-we can easily daytrip NY and overnight DC and longweekend Boston...:goodvibes (I have major San Francisco envy though...)

I'm glad you enjoyed my NY bits...because at the rate this trip report is going I will probably be writing up an overnight to NY at the beginning of Nov...:lmao:(no I actually hope to be done this and open a new PTR...)-we have tickets to a family Jazz concert at Lincoln Center with Wynton Marsalis and we still have enough of Hatter's frequent hotel traveling points to stay overnight...so we'll be doing a another mini NY sojourn...You have to get back to NY though-sometimes you can get good deals on both air and hotels because so many flights go in and out and in off season-they want to fill those hotel rooms...:thumbsup2

Sci Fi really is fun...and that whole Grease era /drive in stuff is so quintessentially American I think it was a great choice for them to do a restaurant like it...and really the flim clips are too much fun...:goodvibes I think kids like it and grandparents like it...it's just one of those places...

With ToT and RnRc-the spirit was willing but the bodies just weren't going to make it...I think it was wise to stop...the next day we were all feeling much perkier...it is just hard sometimes because you want to do everything...but sometimes quality of experience trumps quantity of experiences...

Oh Caspian was charming...he charmed all right...especially Alice...;)

Good update...cute pictures of David w/ the Up characters...Mae wanted to know why we didn't see them and thought the pictures of your cupcakes were cool...;)

I haven't seen UP yet but I know both David and his grandparents were really taken with it...plus that little boy must be a scout of some sort and David just joined Cub Scouts...so you know there was an influence there somewhere....

Hmm...what Matt said is kinda funny...:lmao:...I think maybe the wig???:lmao:also I haven't seen the movie yet but is Prince Caspian from a Eastern European country cause I couldn't place the accent...:confused3 but overall I think he did a good job with what he had to work with and Em had no complaints...;)

There definitely seems to be a consensus on those books...they are on my list as well as the movies...

& I liked the exhibit without having seen or read-I'll bet it would be even better if I knew the whole story...:lmao:

PHOTOS, KIDANI AND SANAA...

We woke up the next morning feeling much perkier...I think our slowdown and rest the day before after the Studios did us all a world of good...we had a scheduled photo shoot at the Lodge that morning for 10 but before that we headed up to the Concierge Lounge on the 6th Floor for breakfast...

I'd mentioned that we got an upgrade to savannah view and I've mentioned that we also got an upgrade to Concierge Level both of which were absolutely lovely surprises...We seemed to have breakfast from the concierge lounge every day...with the exception of our Tusker House breakfast and the couple of times Hatter slipped down to Mara to get Mickey Waffles for Rabbit. There was something out to eat in the CL at all times of the day but we largely used it at breakfast and at tea (3-5) when we came back in from the parks we'd always get an iced tea and sometimes a scone w clotted cream...there were also other sweet snacks and pretzels, etc. out at that time...we were never there at lunchtime but between 5-7-they had out some yummy things that looked like they came from Boma-short ribs, hummus and breads, carrot salad, olives, desserts, wine...you could make a tapas meal of it...I probably wouldn't pay out of pocket for CL not because it wasn't lovely but because I'd rather have the money for dining out and if I paid for CL I would feel more obligated to eat there more often...

Being able to have breakfast there proved a boon however...The breakfast buffet was laid out well and well attended to. There was always oatmeal w/toppings-sometimes quinoa porridge, a variety of cold cereals, yogurts, fruit, bagels and croissants and juices, milks and coffee.

After Breakfast, we headed downstairs to the lobby for our photo shoot...the photographer was quite nice and I asked him which resorts where his favorite to shoot at. He responded the GF for the exteriors and the WL for the interiors...The photo shoot deal is this-it's $49 for 6 4x6's shot within a 45 minute period-so you are choosing from at least 80-100 shots. For $99 you also get the disk...I wanted the disk...so we went with that...

A few of the shots...

Afterwards...we decided in attempt to take it relatively easy (since we had a big late afternoon/evening planned-the Pirates League, Dinner at the Wave and the Pirates and Pals cruise...) we decided we'd go have a look around Kidani Village and lunch at Sanaa before coming back to freshen up and head over to the MK...

The walk over to Kidani is about 8-10 minutes...while attractive...it hasn't been fully landscaped/fully designed with a pedestrian path so while attractive it isn't say the walk on the beach between the Poly and the GF or the walk around the Boardwalk Complex...also you see the parking garage walking over from Jambo House which breaks the illusion just a teeny bit...but when you get to Kidani-wow-really awesome...

100_0942-1.jpg

I wasn't sure how I'd feel about it because it the photos I knew the lobby was much smaller than the one at Jambo House (and I love that lobby in Jambo House...) but I really loved it...it is the perfect complement to Jambo House-they are flip images of each other...Kidani is a DVC and you really feel that warm, welcome feeling when you walk in...and the smaller lobby actually contributes to the feeling...I actually feel that the public savanna there is even better with a more expansive view of all the animals at once...and the seating areas warm and cozy...

That warm, cozy feeling extended to the pool area where the pool is smaller than the one at Jambo house...but there is a lovely bar area and a great water play area for children...

CONTINUED...

We gathered ourselves up and made our way back towards Sanaa...Ah Sanaa. Sanaa was really a wildcard in our itinerary. It kept coming in and out and in and out and finally made it back in this day for lunch. (When I read the menu on line I wasn't sure-I like Indian food but something about the menu didn't grab me although the reviews where generally good.) I was really glad we went...it wound up be one of my favorite meals of the trip...

100_0969-1.jpg

100_0970-1.jpg

100_0973-1.jpg

The cuisine is actually considered to be an African-Indian fusion...The room is lovely and warm and colorful at the same time and you have gorgeous views out onto the savanna-we must have seen at least 4 different giraffes.

100_0986-1.jpg

100_0988-1.jpg

Our server was the perfective balance of warm and professional and he really knew his menu.

We all had iced tea-since Rabbit and I had already had some mixed drinks at the pool and I didn't want to slosh out...

We first order a lovely trio of vegetable salads-so nice to get some veg...there were roasted beets, a an orange, carrot, min salad and potatoes with spinach...yummy light fresh...

100_0980-1.jpg

We then shared the bread sampler which came with several breads including Naan and three different dips...chutneys...

100_0981-1.jpg

Then Alice, I and Hatter ordered and shared...The Porkchop with Ginger and Pickled Lime Sauce served with Warm Potato and Spinach Salad and Shrimp with Green Curry Sauce/w chicken curry and Beef Short Ribs w/chicken curry all served with rice...we passed everything around...and there wasn't a drop left when we were done...it was really, really good...Rabbit had a cheeseburger and proclaimed it the best ever...

100_0983-1.jpg

100_0984-1.jpg

100_0985-1.jpg

Now granted we like Indian food but I think there was also a fish choice and a hamburger and a club sandwich if you just want to experience the setting but aren't sure about Indian food...Go, go, go...it's a really great setting with great views and really yummy food...there was a lovely wine list and a bar too...

100_0990-1.jpg

100_0991-1.jpg

100_0992-1.jpg

For dessert-I had a chai creme-which kind of tasted like Christmas is a glass, Hatter had the cardomom butter cake and Alice had the flourless chocolate cake...

and the have

Pressed Pot Kenyan Coffee...

So after a highly satisfying meal, it was time to make our way back to Jambo House to get ready for our destiny with Pirates...

NEXT UP: Pirates League, Waving, and Cruising with Pirates and Pals...

OK, officially Sanaa looks wonderful! I can't believe that we are staying there in December and don't have a meal there or at Boma.....
What is wrong with this picture?

Your pictures on the other hand were great! What did you think of the whole photo shoot process? Were you happy with your pictures?

Thanks for the great Saana review! I made ressies there for 12/30 hoping DH will allow a daytrip to see the resorts while we are in FL visiting his parents.

wonderful pictures and reviews of everything...sounds like a wonderful day at the resort....I may ponder Sana as a possible TS for our anni trip...that would sound lovely and romantic to dine at :lovestruc

looking forward to your review of the Wave...that's on my possible TS list for next yr...w/ our close proximity to CR staying at BLT...seems like a logical choice for dinner when we arrive....hmmmm

PPP,

Thanks so much for your detailed review of your time at Kidani and Sanaa. It really gives me a better understanding and feel for the resort, since..well...you know I'm staying at Kidani in Feb..

Sanaa is back on my list for lunch specifically because I've heard great things about that pork chop.

I'm glad you were able to have a relaxing morning/afternoon. I'm LOVING how you've seemed to pace your vacation so well!:thumbsup2

I love relaxing Disney Days. So peaceful, so relaxing, just what you need after days of park touring!

I really can't wait to hear about your pirate cruise! pirate:

I so enjoyed reading about your impressions of Kidani and Sanaa! One of these days I would like to eat there -- especially if you can see giraffes from the windows. ;)

Bring on the Pirates' League -- that is something I am planning on having the kids do next summer.

How wonderful about the CL! And the view upgrade too. I would love to have CL for our trip and would be over the moon with an upgrade but like you I wouldn't pay for it, I'd put that money elsewhere.

Do they offer the photoshoots at all the deluxes now? I think I'd like to do one if they do....were you happy with the shots?

Great Sanaa review, that's a non negotiable for me, hopefully everyone else will be ok with that!

Oh how you tease me with that Photopass session. Just 3 pictures. What's a photopass addict to do?;) Were you happy with the session?
Kidani and Saana look great! It's in our plans to stay there in Jan 2011. I can't wait and definitely will try Saana. Great review:goodvibes

Hey everyone...ummm...I have a not a big deal request- like everything going on with a lot of people's health right now- but I have a dentist appt this morning at 10 for an unpleasant procedure-I'm being offered laughing gas...but I don't see anything funny about it...:sad2:...I'm am sadly a dental wimp... and being told that I probably shouldn't plan to work this afternoon:sad2:...so any good wishes sent my way would be appreciated...(I AM SUCH A wimp when it comes to the dentist...ughhhhh...-what I really need is a good swift kick of bravery...:confused3

OK, officially Sanaa looks wonderful! I can't believe that we are staying there in December and don't have a meal there or at Boma.....
What is wrong with this picture?

Your pictures on the other hand were great! What did you think of the whole photo shoot process? Were you happy with your pictures?

Hey Anita, Sanna was really wonderful and Boma-well you know...:goodvibes...If you couldn't fit them in this time...there's always next time...although Sanaa does lunch...if you could escape from one of the parks at lunchtime...:rolleyes1

I loved the photoshoot...I thought the quality was good and the photographer was really nice...I was happy with my photos...:rolleyes1...except for the fact that I'm a good 40 lbs above my ideal weight...:sad2: but that's my fault not the photographers...:confused3

I would definitely recommend it...;)

Thanks for the great Saana review! I made ressies there for 12/30 hoping DH will allow a daytrip to see the resorts while we are in FL visiting his parents.

You will have a fabulous time...the resorts are an attraction unto themselves...:goodvibes and the food and atmosphere of Sanaa...:thumbsup2...not to mention ...how cool is it to be able to watch the animals on the savanna while you're eating...?

wonderful pictures and reviews of everything...sounds like a wonderful day at the resort....I may ponder Sana as a possible TS for our anni trip...that would sound lovely and romantic to dine at :lovestruc

looking forward to your review of the Wave...that's on my possible TS list for next yr...w/ our close proximity to CR staying at BLT...seems like a logical choice for dinner when we arrive....hmmmm

J-

Hey J,

I think that Sanaa would make a lovely couples dining experience...you could go for dinner and try for a table up near the window...plus Kidani just like Jambo has night viewing of the animals on their public savanna...:lovestruc...the whole place is very atmospheric...

Wave up next...Since you are at BLT...I would definitely eat at the Wave...(they are supposed to have a lovely breakfast and lunch also...I liked it but didn't love it but not because of the food...;)...you'll see or read...:lmao:

You are going to love Kidani...its as great as Jambo but with a more mellow vibe...they really are flip sides of each other...:thumbsup2

The Chop was fabulous-really tender...well seasoned...kind of Indian light...actually I'm not sure that Pork is a big food in Indian but I think it is eaten in African and it was yummy...

Yes we've started to pace better because we've come to accept that we are Disney nuts.:lmao:..so there will be another trip to catch up on stuff we missed...;)
