DAY 4: BLIZZARD BEACH
Well this had been on the agenda for the last 12months, as last year when we visited the Tropical storm was approaching

, the place was almost empty apart from us crazy brits, stood under a gazebo freezing

.....well enough said you get the picture.
So we arrive early, head for our pitch for the day, and only end up where we we're last year!, that was more for the children though...they loved the area of the Ski Patrol Training Camp with the T bar drop and ice berg walk, so within a flash their both in the water and my DH & I are quick behind them, but not that quick to get in the water!! well they do everything here at least 5 times whilst it's quiet. and then we head off the 4 of us to the Cross Country Peak, we get our tubes, gosh that water's cold today, we enter behind where we're actually stationed for the day, so of course we have to go inside the cave bit and all that freezing water that's at the entrance... guess who hit it?

yes me, I tell you that water could give someone a heartattack!, ok maybe a bit over the top BUT!!, so we have the leisurely ride around there whilst it's not too busy, I have to say I've never been in when there are so many tubes available, usually everyones scrapping for them, anyway we make a decision to get off and head to Runoff Rapids, my youngest DD hates anything new or anything different and questions us to the point of desperation and that's us not her!, so we pick up our Inner Tubes and head to the top!, how far up!, gosh those tubes aren't the easiest things to carry, we're having a bit of banter with the Brits behind us but I couldn't speak I was that out of breath......So we get to the top, my DH and youngest get ready to go, she's that skinny she fell straight through the ring so we positioned her right, my DH had his legs under her arms and legs so she wasn't going anywhere or so we hoped?, off they went now it's our turn, my eldest DD and I leave no problems and wonder what will face us when we reach the bottom?, as we head out of the water, my youngest DD's there jumping up and down AGAIN, AGAIN,

so off we head again!, up all those steps with those tubes and just as much fun the 2nd time. Now we head over to the Chairlift, seem to wait for ever to get on it, we split in to 2's and make our way to the top to go on Teamboat springs, we'll I have to say I think the worst bit there was the chairlift I didn't like that experience, so we're safely at the top and wait about 30secs and then we're in our family raft, had a great time the girls loved it and laughed all the way down it because their dad kept getting the soaking's. We head back to base now to have a drink and a bite to eat, and by this time the place is getting a lot busier and hotter. When we get back no grandparents?, but not for long they appear shortly after, they'd been on Summit Plummet!!

NO only joking...

they'd been in the Cross Country Creek!.
Here's a picture of the girls with their ice creams!

Sorry not many photo's taken here today...
So we rest for all of about 30mins, and then my DH and my Dad take the girls off for more enteratinment for another hour. so us ladies can sit in the sun, well I did for all of about 10 mins, it was just too hot...Anway we leave around 2.15pm and head for DTD.
1st stop Earl of Sandwich which really didn't please my eldest DD she had a right paddy!

she wants to go and spend!, so she doesn't eat her sandwich she sulks instead which makes everyone feel uncomfortable, then my dad get's my mum a fruit juice and she wanted a diet coke!

all good fun!

so I take my DD outside after I've eaten and we have a few words, enough to make her say sorry and have a hug!

Friends again...So now to shop but we didn't buy that much, we split up from my Mum and Dad to give them a break

girls choose a pluto and a goofy and I think that's all we bought, we headed back to the car and waited for my Parents. Then back to the villa for an early night!
