First thank you to everyone who helped me plan our very first short trip to DL!!! We had a wonderful time! My husband and I planned our 10 year anniversary to San Diego and decided we couldn't go to CA without visiting Disney. I have never even been to CA, wow is it beautiful!! So here are my experiences 
We arrived at Disney at 11am. We stayed at Carousel Inn, nothing but good things to say. We didn't do anything but sleep here but the staff were all very friendly. So we heard that we need to head to Cars land first and we grabbed a FP for radiator springs. We had some lunch and did Mike and Sully, Soarin-awesome, and then went over to DL. I have to say I was shocked at the size of the castle!! We did Space Mt-way better than WDW, Finding Nemo-I HATED this ride. You are jam packed with hot sweaty people. I couldn't get off that ride fast enough. Never again. We did the Matterhorn. Not a fan of this ride. The ride was really bumpy/jerky and my husband and I both thought we would skip this one again. We loved Small World outside! We also did Mr. Toad, BTM, Splash Mt, Pirates (twice), jungle cruise and Indiana Jones. We LOVED this ride!! Then we went back over to CA and did Radiator Springs Racer-so cool!! And Toy Story Man-love this. We headed back to DL and asked to eat at Blue Bayu about 645. We were seated 10 min later!! Super lucky. This meal was oh so good!! Loved being on Pirates-husbands favorite ride. He had steak and lobster and I had steak I believe lol. After the meal we caught the very end of the parade and then the fireworks. They were amazing!! My husband also suprised me with a ring during the fireworks
All in all we were EXHAUSTED after the day. We almost went back the next day but instead went to DTD, had breakfast and then headed to the beach. We would LOVE to take our children here instead of the World I think. I liked the closness of everything. We liteally waited 15 min or less for every ride. And there were so many that we couldn't do because of time that I would like to do. But I feel we did pretty good for only having 1 day! I also liked not having to deal with the FP. It was nice that most rides didn't take them and you just waited in line. That was nice. Thanks again everyone!! We had a great time!
