back from GF RPC with trip update!

Thanks! Just what I needed to hear. The zero entry area at the Poly is just CRAZY and I was thinking of getting the cabana to stay away from that a little but did not want to keep running after the girls.

Is rpc in the main building? I know there are two club levels but do you know if they offer the same things? We are staying at the Poly in August but would love to plan our next trip at the GF club level.
Thanks
Kathy

RPC is main building, sugar loaf is just outside the main building. The concierge lounge offers the same food etc. The RPC offers the convenience of being in the mail building. We left our room one afternoon at 4pm on the nose, hopped on the monorail on the 2nd floor and were 1/2 way down Main Street at 4:15 !! So loved having the easy access to the monorail and the lobby etc...

What a great report, and thanks so much for sharing it with us.! Let's all keep the this under our hats, though - don't want the GF to get insanely difficult to book! ;) :rotfl:

I agree with you, the GF CM's are the best, from top to bottom (well, maybe excluding that specialty cake dept....). It's hard to stay away from there once you've experienced it! :goodvibes

And RPC and that castle view are just heavenly! :cloud9: I can't wait to be back there in Dec! (We had room 4202 last year, so we know how good your view was. ;) ).

Do the play and dine, great character interaction and lots of singing and dancing...it was one of my fav diniing experiences last week. We did lunch which was soooo yummy, breakfast I am sure will be just as good...hard to eally screw up breakfast food hahaha. Chef mickey's is my other fav character dining, followed by crystal palace and then 1900 park fare. :) have a blast !

THANK YOU! I think we will stick with the breakfast.

I am so glad you posted your mini report. It makes me all the more excited to go on our trip in a few weeks! Please post more! I'd love to hear your reviews of other kid friendly restaurants!

Welcome back and thanks so much for the great reviews, we are actually staying at the RPC GF in February for my DD 13th Birthday, we have also been down many times but never stayed at the GF before, I am so excited about going and can't wait to make ressies at the spa for my DH and I to get massages and I would also like to be able to get my daughters something there as well DD14, DD13, and DD12. I was also thinking of booking the characther breakfast at 1900 Park Fare, we have done Chef Mickey's many times and love it and have never tried anyother character breakfast do you think 1900 Park Fare is just as nice or should we stick with Chef Mickeys. Also, do you know how much iit is to rent a cabana and do you think I will even be able to go into the pool in February or will it be to cold.
I was unsure as to whether or not to stay RPC, but now I am so convinced!
Thanks Again!

Lesley...pop over to the dining board to the reviews forum, i posted a "report card" over there of all the places we dined :) let me know if you have trouble finding it.

The cabana is $60 and I think the time is 10-2 or 3-7... we did all day which was 10-7 at $120. Feb may be a bit chilly, play the cabana rental by ear when you get there and see what it is like weather wise.

Lee, chef mickey's is so awesome but we really did love 1900 as something new and different...if you cannot do both on your trip....maybe give 1900 a try for something new.
