Back from Alaska DVD Update

We went on this Adventure 7/20-28/10 and on or about 8/05 or8/06 we got are DVD from the farewell dinner but no pictures the guides took.They had a letter explaining how to use Photo Pass but you had to buy them?On the photo pass site their were 272 pictures.I called ABD and spoke to CM Peter and told him the guides said we should get all the pictures that were taken on this trip,he took all this information down and said he was going to pass it to a supervisor as he couldn't give me an answer,fair enough.Next day I get a call from ABD Melody ask's me some more questions tell here that I do not see the extra folders she is talking about.She tells me not to worry that they will send out the correct one ASAP.Two days later when I get home from work the correct DVD is here with 789 pictures on it,SWEET.Call them up to thank Peter and Melody and they apologize for them not getting it the first.those two CM are great,Now I'm a happy Adventurer. All the pictures on their can be copied to another disk and I can download them to get printed were I want too,

That's great news, Icemann! I was hoping that it was just a mistake! I hope the others on your trip got all their pics, too!

Icemann, I guess we have to go down the same road you just traveled. We recieved out DVD and ours just had the photos we had seen at the last dinner. Oh well give me something to do....as if I don't have enough..but love the dancing banana.

I'm a little confused as well. I've been on 2 ABD's in the past, and only received the DVD from the farewell dinner as well. While we were given the photopass code to view all the pics taken on our trip, I was not under the impression that we were entitled to these pictures for free. Is it just me or did others only get the farewell DVD?

In past years you had to buy the photo CD. This year it's included in the price of the trip.

I just remembered that a while back I posted that the CD should be included and it was cheesy for ABD to charge extra for it. Do you think they took note?...nah
