Just got back from our first DVC visit to AKV in a 2 bedroom at Kidani. The room was great and the savannah view was wonderful. Took my almost 10 month old to get his first haircut. And got some Disney magic out of a bad situation.
Wed night he came down with a flu and was a very sick baby. The next morning he was acting fine and keeping stuff down again so we went to Epcot where he got sick again about 4 hours later so I took him back to the room where we spent the rest of our trip. By Friday my step mom and I both had it too so we all had to spend our last day in the room.
I ended up buying all the PediaLyte in the gift shop and when I asked for more they said they'd check Jambo and call my room. When they called they said they were sending someone off site to get it and would bring it up when he got back. About 45 minutes someone came to the door and had a WalGreens bag with 8 singles in it. I asked if it had been charged to the room as I wanted to add a tip, I had no cash, and he said no we're taking care of it. I said but I need to tip you and he said don't worry about and said good night. Because of the long couple days I'd had I wanted to cry at the sweetness of them going to that trouble for us.
Other than that couple days the trip was wonderful though and I can't wait to take him back again.
