Stayed Fri thru Mon President's weekend. The parks were very busy. We had a studio and requested a room close to elevator and pool due to my recent back surgery. Had a room in almost the last pod. We booked standard but did get savannah. Saw a lot of giraffes, tommies, ankole cattle, and other animals. I did have to use my ECV to even go to the pool since it was so far to the elevator. Due to daughter and boyfriend coming with us at the last moment it was cramped but we managed. I did try to change to a 1 bedroom a month before but there was nothing anywhere. We had a good time at MK and Epcotwhich was not as busy as AK which was crazy busy. We did not go back to the parks at nite only AK one nite to see Pandora at nite which was impressive. We went for drinks at Tambu at Poly while kids went to MK and we met a nice DVC couple who also had a home resort of OKW like us. We complained about certain things with DVC but agreed we still like it overall. We then went to VB for 5 relaxing nights by ourselves. Great time there but also much busier than usual.
Oh one more thing we had a great bus driver on our AKL to MK bus first he helped with my ECV and he told stories and jokes almost all the way. All bus drivers were great and helpful wth mu ECV.
