My DH told me on Wednesday May 4 that he was taking me to Disney on Thursday May 5 till Sunday May 8 & That our DD 5, DS 2, & DD 6 months were staying home. I was very excited and nervous all at the same time. We have never left our children over night, So needless to say this trip was well needed for the two of us. This is how our trip went..........

The weather was amazing!! High 70's (a little chilly at night) NO humidy.

Thursday: Checked into the Grosvenor in Downtown Disney it was ok. Very clean but had a strange smell to it. (spoiled by disney resorts) Went to DTD for some supper ate at Rainforest Cafe it was really good. After dinner we strolled over to Pleasure Island and had maybe a few too many drinks :drinking1 but keep in mind we are childrenless. Had a wonderful time at PI.

Friday: HANGOVER!! Weather was a bit chilly But still managed to get out of bed to head for the MK. We stopped at the Waffle House I really did not like it at all. Got to MK around 10:00am park was pretty dead. We walked right on Space Mountain, Never did that before. We strolled around sat a bit and people watched the sun finally came out :sunny: And it was probably 78 out just beautiful. We decided to head back to the hotel around 4:00 and to my surprise my DH drives over to the Beach Club Villas and says come on we are staying here for 2 nights!! I was so excited he surprised me again!! The hotel is just beautiful. That night we walked over to Epcot and had Dinner at Teppanyaki again walked right in and got seat without PS. Had a great dinner. We than went over to Mexico and watched Illuminations. Ended the night with a soak in the Hot Tub.

Saturday: We decided we both were desperate for sleep so we slepted till NOON!!! I can not remember that last time I slept that late. We got up had a quick bit to eat at the hotel and walked over to Epcot to ride Soaring and see the countries. We got a fast pass for Soaring because the wait was 75 minutes!! This was the longest line we encountered. We got our fastpass at 2:00pm and had to come back at 6:00pm. So we decided to head for the countries. We started in Mexico and got our first drink a Mango Marguritia YUMMY!! We were palnning on drinking around the world. I did not get a drink in every country but most I did. Morrocco has got Yummy Pina Calada Daquiries & Baklava (ask them to add alcohol to daquiries). In Italy I got a galss of Bellini which I love and can't seem to find anywhere here. As we approached France we decided to stop by the BCV to drop off our packages and than head over to soaring after. On our way back to Epcot we stopped at the pool bar for a drink to go I got the Hurricane Hanna OH MY let me tell you it was the strongest drink I ever drank!! I had to ask the bartender to add some more juice to it (My DH called me a wimp)
We got to Soaring and I was freaking out because I get sick on mostly every ride that moves. I took my Bonine that morning but I was nervous because I had been drinking. We ended up in the front row WOW what a ride it was so amazing I never once felt nausea or anything it was so smooth i LOVE that ride it is know my favorite. After Soaring we headed back to Canada and England to finish off the countrys and than head over to DTD again for a little shopping. We stopped in at pleasure Island grabbed another drink and than walked around DTD shops. My DH loves the Rum Runners at Captains Jacks Marguritia bar in DTD. I think they are VERY strong! After DTD we ended the night with another soak in the Hot tub.

Sunday: We got up at 7:00 and went to breakfast at Yatch Club. Wonderful buffet. We went to MGM for the day and we saw the stunt show. I thought it was good. Try to sit in front of the posts if you get seated behind they do get in the way of your view. We headed out around 4:00pm for our flight home. :sad1:

The weekend away was wonderful! I missed my kids alot but they had a great time away from us also.
