This is the second year we've spent Nov. in WDW and also caught the MVMCP! And I believe this will be a tradition from now on. This will probably be a pretty unremarkable report, but all in all I love Disney more than ever.
I personally think the Christmas party is worth the $$, for the atmosphere, parade, and WAAAAY shorter lines. We were able to get right on a ride with a minimal wait time, then get RIGHT back on again. NO WAIT. Sweet.
Made it to the Food and Wine festival and had some good eats (sorry, no pics). Fav drink was the Plum wine and green tea slushie, tho the margaritas packed more of a kick.
This time we also ate at Mama Melrose in MGM for the first time, and it was GOOD.
My dd rode Everest for the very first time and loved it but no amount of coaxing could get her on the RnRC...she does love the HTH, tho. Longest wait time of the whole trip was about 40 minutes for Test Track at EPcot on Sunday.
Rental house was awesome, less than 5 minutes from Disney, and had a pool (heated) and pool table, which we used liberally. We are a family of night owls, including the 2 year old we had along, and came home from the parks and did Walmart and played pool into the night...
I personally love going to WDW this time of the year, the crowds are less and the weather is perfect. We even went to the Florida Mall twice this time.
I may add more later..
