Just home from Disney Cruise #21, and as always it was a "wonder"ful time. It was so much fun to see Sasha, Karen, P.J., Rita, and lots of other crew friends. It's amazing how many people we've gotten to know, and they always welcome us back so warmly.
Once again, we kept up our streak of 21 times of beautiful weather at Castaway Cay. They have added something neat there...a gameroom at Groupers Pavillion, with things like foosball, pool, basketball, etc. It's all free, and hubby said it wasn't crowded at all because nobody really knows about it yet. Be sure to check it out! We'll be posting photos on our website soon. We got pictures of the pulldown bed and a Cat. 4 family suite. We also took some pics. of the new Straw Market and lots more dinner entrees to add to the menus on my site. There wasn't much else new, although we did have a neat new experience...as we were leaving Nassau, I heard Tony calling me frantically from the verandah (he was relaxing outside, but I was already in bed). I came running out just in time to see a fireworks display. It must have been some kind of Nassau holiday. It lasted about ten minutes, and it was such a great way to cap the day.
Those who hate seeing people "reserve" a deck chair all day by throwing a shirt or whatever onto it will be glad to know that Disney has put signs on all the deck chairs saying "Please do not use items to reserve these chairs for extended periods." Hopefully they will be effective...it's hard to tell on the 3-day because getting a chair isn't usually a problem, or at least not by the adult pool.
This trip had to have the wildest 70s party ever. My face hurt from laughing by the time it ended! One of the "John Travoltas" was wearing boxer shorts with big hearts, and he rolled up his shorts so they were fully visible. It was SO funny! Who says kids have all the fun on Disney ships?!
I'll be putting together my trip report soon, but those are just some quick highlights.
