Hi Everyone,
My DH and 4yr old DS and I just returned on Fri. from our 13 day vacation (7 nts at the Yacht Club and 6 nts at AKL). We had a great time despite the heat (we are not used to humidity at all up here!). We had pretty good luck with crowds with the exception of MK on Tues. May 9. We walked on to most things and others were minimal waits (usually under 15 minutes). There still seemed to be a lot of people but I guess it couldn't have been that crowded.
We didn't have a car so we used the buses (and they were great). We mostly ate at counter service restauarants except for one character breakfast at Cape May, supper and breakfast at Boma once, and had the Fantasmic dinner package at Hollywood & Vine (and don't flame me, but I still don't care for the show - I was hoping maybe I just missed something the last time I saw it but it still left me feeling like it was lacking something).
If anyone has any questions I would be pleased to answer them. It really was a wonderful trip (although those tips you read on not giving your child milk to drink on the plane and bringing a change of clothes along with ziplock bags was really good advice - I should have listened!). I felt bad for our towncar driver who had to pick us up after the flight (we used FL Tours and they were excellent by the way!).
