Back a week CSR Xmass and New years

Just back a week. Spent 17 days at Csr. Willing to answer any questions. Braved and Survived Chirstmas and New Years looking forward to doing it again. Also happy to answer any questions. Still getting our thoughts together trip report to come very soon

Which park did you spend new year's eve in?

Please tell me about the resort. I've heard lots of good things about CBR, POR, and POFQ but not that much about CSR.

Is the food court good?
What's the pools and hot tubs like?
Are there lots of play areas for a group of nine year olds?
Does the room seem very crowed?

As you can see I have lots of ?s. Anything you can answer will be great!

We spent new years at Epcot. We picked out spot at 10 am in the am. We brought camping chairs and a blanket and set up next to a family that had been there since 9 am. We alternated between family members two stayed at the spot two went on rides or walked around. My mom was determined to have the best view. We sure got it. They have two illumanations shows one at 7ish and one at 1140. The last one is followed by an huge fireworks display. Each country shoots off fireworks and the tell you when it turned 2004 for that countrie. I konw Mk and Mgm had closed down around 10am. It didn't get to bad until around 6pm. Thats when we were glad for the spot.

I'm glad you had a good time . Wow. I can't imagine sitting in the same place for 14 hours! I'm surprised that Disney allowed you in with chairs. I've seen blankets in the past, but not chairs.

how crazy was epcot? We have been to MK and MGM on NYE before and are thinking of trying epcot this year. If you remember, what time did futureworld close?

Epot was not to crazy until later in the night. Future world was open just about all night I think. There was a hour ride for the baot ride in the Land but we walked right onto Journey to your imaganation. I know that they had a couple of dance parties around the showcase's and one in future world. After the first illumanations we didn't leave our spot unless we were hungary or had to take a bathroom brake

We were at Epcot for NYE. In the morning when the park opened, instant 1 hour wait for Fasttrack and Mission Space, but we just Fastpassed them. You could walk onto about anything else.

We left around 1:30 Pm to go back to the room to rest, and re-entered Epcot around 6:00 PM with no problems. The park was crowded but navigable.

We had dinner reservations at Rose & Crown for 7:20 PM. By 6:30 PM it started to get quite crowded in the World. As time approached the 7:30 PM fireworks show, it was stand still for the most part in England. After the fireworks, it loosened up, and around 9:30-10:00 PM you could walk onto Body Wars and most other minor attractions.
