If I may barge in on the Weddings board for a moment, someone suggested I repost here . . . .
I'm planning my sister in law's bachelorette for 6 ladies. The group includes the MOB and MOG, the bride, myself, 1 friend of the bride, and the groom's sister (who is only 20).
To save money, we're staying at a DTD hotel and not going into any of the parks. Saturday morning will either be Kona Cafe or quick breakfast at DTD. Then the day is open. Bride wants to wander DTD shops, maybe play mini golf. Dinner at 6:45 at Il Mulino. Probably heading to Poly that night for Wishes viewing and maybe a drink at Tambu lounge. (Bride is young (22) and not a huge drinker, but the real problem is the 20 year old for that sort of thing - no Jellyrolls or Atlantic Dance). Back to DTD after fireworks.
Sunday is Chef Mickey's brunch at 11 and the rest of the day open until we leave to drive home.
My question is - I've been to Disney so much, but DTD is my least familiar place. I'm wondering if I'm missing suggestions for DTD?
Is there enough to occupy us just wandering around on Saturday? Window shopping and ice cream only go so far!
So for all those DTD experts - or bachelorette experts - any suggestions that I'm missing?
Any interesting hotel bars where the 20 year old can still join us unlike Jellyrolls?
Finally, budget is really the main concern for not doing more.
Thanks!
