Sweet Tenley... I hope she finds someone who really deserves her.

Tenley was not the girl for Jake. First off, Tenley was still in mourning over the death of her marriage. She was desperately trying to find her "happily ever after" by going on a reality show. She was giving her heart away too easily just so that she didn't feel like a rejected loser. When she was in the car going home she said something that made me cringe. She said Jake's rejection of her "opened up a new can of worms." What she meat is, now she is starting to question her worth as a woman. Her husband left her for another woman and now Jake rejected her. I just wanted to reach into the TV and hug her and tell her that she is worth 10X what those other women are worth because she's real and compassionate and giving.

Tenley's prince is out there and he's going to love her 100X than Jake ever "did."

As for Jake and Vienna, they did seem to be matched and their connection was palpable. But when they are not in St. Lucia and the "real world" hits them, I want to see how they will connect when life gets in the way. Vienna is only 23 and an immature 23 year old at that. Jake is 31! If this relationship lasts I'll applaud them, but I'd be very surprised. I'd wish anyone happiness so I hope they are truly happy together.

At times I wanted to smack Jake for continually saying that he had fallen in love with two women. Honey, you don't know what love is -- yet. Love comes, after the goosbumps wear off.

Ya, amazing how she couldn't stay for a little longer on the Bachelor because of her job. Now, miraculously she can do the ENTIRE Bachelorette?...!

OK ... my thoughts on the show. I think that Vienna looked different because of her makeup. She wore that raccoon mask of gray eyeshadow and heavy mascara/eye liner on the show (I assume she did her own makeup) but on the ATR show someone else did her makeup and didn't darken her eyes so much.

I don't understand how you can have a successful relationship if your boy friend seems so conflicted and whines on national TV that he is in love with two women. Especially when the other one is SO different from you. Tenley has a good head on her shoulders and recognized that and seemed somewhat relieved that she wasn't selected after all. The bachelor/bachelorette usually goes on about "falling" for two people but they usually don't use the word "love". I know the producers want to encourage the "who is he gonna pick?" drama but other people have handled it better.

I also don't think that Jake's family really did a 180 on her. I think Jake clued them in that she was the one that he was going to pick and that they better get on the ball and give the girl some positive press on their interviews.

For all his talk about wanting to settle down, Jake picked the immature, surgically enhanced, mud wrestling Hooter's girl. That being said, I think that Jake and Vienna seem happy together. Maybe they can mature together.

Oh ... and I was very disappointed to see that Jake was going to be on DWTS. Doesn't that man have a job?

I barely watched the show because I find Vienna AND Jake so nauseating. I did watch is family and YES, they were cued and clued by Jake AND the producers to do the 180. I cannot imagine them being thrilled with letting that thing in their family.

Passion and fun is AWESOME in the beginning... it's what 24 year olds DO the best! Why do you think men drop their older women for them????

Speaking of trailer trash ... I was standing in the grocery check out and one of the trashy tabloids had an article about Vienna's birth mom living in a trailer. Let me see if I can dig up a link ...
