Why do they even ask people to "nominate" someone you know to be the next bachelor or bachelorette. They always pick someone from the previous season.

I wasn't devastated by the one particular post. I think the show itself has tilted the ending that way.

I hardly think anyone was DEVASTATED. I think most people keep being devastated for things like a death in the family. Just disappointed that the ending was put out there, and rather early in the season, with a link that named the final two. I just think it's a simple courtesy not to tell the probable ending on a thread that specifically states DON'T do it, and with another thread that WELCOMES it. What does anyone not get? That's like telling someone who's reading a book, or about to see a movie, "Oh, I HEARD that it ends like this..."

I know you all hate her, but to me she just seems like a sweet girl that has some maturing yet to do because she didn't have the greatest upbringing. Not fake or evil, just an unpolished, often uncouth girl. Maybe it's just creative editing, but she seems to truly love him.

I agree. I like Vienna. Whether or not it will last remains to be seen.

I think it's a kick that Jake is on DWTS. I'll watch to see him, Vienna in the audience, and Kate Gosselin.

No surprise about Ali. Yeah, why have her back when she walked off the show before? I wonder how much of a guarantee they got with her employer that she can stay for the whole thing. That WOULD be the most dramatic rose ceremony if The Bachelorette has to leave.

Ya, amazing how she couldn't stay for a little longer on the Bachelor because of her job. Now, miraculously she can do the ENTIRE Bachelorette? I guess Facebook is hoping she'll post on her FB page while on the show! Good publicity!

I didn't care for Jake last season, I was a Kiptyn fan, so I didn't watch much of this season. I caught enough to know Michelle would be extremely entertaining though, at least in a can't turn away from a train wreck kind of way. They could call her edition The Desperate Bachelorette.

I think it's a kick that Jake is on DWTS. I'll watch to see him, Vienna in the audience, and Kate Gosselin.

I think Jake seems way too stiff to be much of a dancer, but who knows?

I thought it was great that ABC put Melissa on DWTS after the Jason nonsense she had to endure. I don't get the ongoing Jake appeal though. Does he have a large fan base? The folks at ABC sure seem to love him.

Have been a lurker on this thread, first time chiming in.

My thoughts on Vienna and Jake are they have an extreme physical attraction. How many times did he say they can't keep their hands off each other? He also said he always picks the wrong girl, the one with only physical chemistry and it never lasts.

This girl is no different. Vienna is the girl you cheat on your wife with because it's exciting and wild. Tenley is the girl you marry. Their physical connection may not be all hot and steamy, but he said a million times how emotionally connected they were. That's the girl that you have a lasting relationship with, once the physical attraction of Vienna wears off, there is nothing left.

He also said to the camera that he loved Tenley. He never said that about Vienna, just that he loved two girls.

I also don't buy Jake's family suddenly coming around to loving Vienna, give me a break!

Vienna wore that teal color a LOT thru the show, even Jakes tie matched it for the last show...

...I noticed that too...
