I thought the same thing. They didn't even go to her mother's house, they were in a restaurant. It was just odd, as if they were hiding something.

I would say Gia, mostly because he asked Tenley's father for his permission to marry her. BTW, WHAT was up with THAT .

He asked Vienna's father and Ali's mother the same thing. Either he didn't ask Gia's mother or they just didn't show it.

Wow, reading all this is so cool! I had to work last night, so I recorded the show. Now that I've got some "previews", I can't wait to see it tonight. Kind of a shame about Ali-she was my favorite. As far as Vienna, every season there's been one girl whom every one else hates, who stays til the end and no one can understand why (except is it something to do with the producers and ratings????) I can't help think that might be Vienna this season-this season's "bad girl". Although I haven't seen this week's show yet, lately he's seemed to be totally smitten with Tenley so that's my pick. I also think Gia's really sweet, and am puzzled that he doesn't get interested in her even more. But Vienna-all I can think is that he's being forced to keep her by the show.

I felt soooo bad for Ali!! I keep screaming at the TV, Run Ali Run! This was a horrible case of "he's just not that into you" in painful slow-mo. Jake is a wimpy wimp. He keeps saying "I'm falling for you" to these girls but he has no idea what "falling" means. What was EXTRA painful last night was how they showed Ali crying in the car home, while Jake was laughing and clicking champagne glasses with the girls.

Secondly, Gia is waaaaay too good for Jake. By a mile. I hope Jake lets her go so she could find a real man. Thirdly, Tenley is on the rebound. She is NOT over her ex. Not by a long shot.

Yeah, he didn't ask anyone for permission to marry her either. Don't you think her mom being a total gypsy-reading tarot cards and all that would have kinda freaked him out? Or how about her brother saying he'd have to find him and break some legs?

As for Vienna being wealthy and her family not showing it. My parents were loaded, seriously...but you would NEVER have guessed. Their home was full of DIY repairs that were done badly, their furniture was old- like 40 years old, not cool antiques, my Dad wore all purple clothes(he was quite eccentric) and my Mom was so cheap she squeaked.

Gia is a sweetie but after her hometown date, the connection wasn't there like it was with the other 3. Too bad since she seems so genuine. I did think it was strange that they were all at a restaurant though and not at one of her family's homes. Do they all live on the street?

Jake seems smitten with Tenly but in the end, I'll bet (like others have said already) that he doesn't think she's over her ex-hubby. It does seem soon for her to be looking for another husband anyway. Her dad said it had happened within the last year?? That's too soon IMO. I like Tenly, she seems like a good match for Jake but it's just so soon to be contemplating another marriage.

Vienna is something else. She has that aura about her that just says trouble. Jake is obviously attracted to it for some reason. When they were cruising on the river, he had on a white t-shirt, jeans and was driving with one hand while the other was draped across Vienna's legs. It looked like a scene out of 1950's greaser movie! I'm surprised he didn't have a pack of cigarettes rolled up in his shirt sleeve too. I think he likes the wildness of Vienna but that won't make for a stable marriage for him.

It rubbed me the wrong way to see Jake acting hurt and sad after Ali left and then happily telling the girls that now he doesn't have to have a rose ceremony. He sure bounced back quickly. I don't Ali will enjoy seeing that!

I don't know if she ever said they were loaded, just that she was a Daddy's girl. I assumed they had money, too, but I'm not sure if she ever really said that.

Yea, I don't think she actually ever said it, I think I read it somewhere, so who knows how true it is.

And yea, I've known some people made of money who don't show it, either, but the way she acts, I expected something very different. She does come across very differently from the rest of her family.

I thought all 3 girls looked thrilled. I was surprised because I thought Ali and Tenley were friends.

I think they all looked pretty happy, too, and I also think he would have cut Gia. I don't see a connection there, and I think he thinks she's so beautiful and sweet that he would like there to be a connection, but realizes there isn't. I think she'll be next to go.

She probably has no clue what it takes to be in that class but her Daddy probably convinced her she was THERE! I kind of got the clue when she was in San Fran and said she'd "never been to a big city".... That blew the Paris Hilton thing OUT of the water for me!

Wouldn't that be a job she could do from anywhere? Take your laptop to St. Lucia and work while he's off with the other girls. It's to the point where they have a lot of down time when they're not with Jake. Seems that something could have been arranged.

I did notice that. I thought it was rather odd that she got so excited about critters that are usually in that area. It would be like me squealing over a squirrel.
