Bacardi Rum Factory Tour - Nassau

Anyone ever done the Bacardi Rum Factory Tour on New Providence Island? or have info on it?

I've asked this question in the past also, but without any answers. The distillery is on the other side of the island, far away from the area the ship docks, so the taxi fare is probably expensive. I talked with a castmember on my last cruise in May who took the tour with some other shipmates and he said that it was ok. Not very fancy at all and it sounded like although they do give tours, they aren't really set up for it. The best part is that there is rum tasting! I am still interested in touring it for my upcoming cruise in May, but without the details on getting there, I'll probably skip it.

We did the tour a number of years ago as an excursion we booked on the ship (not Disney,because this was in 1985, long before DCL existed)
We enjoyed it, but the smell of sugar was a little overpowering. Can't speak to the cab ride since the excurison included transportation.
