I am having no kids at the ceremony at the WP. Do they watch kids at the Grand Floridian if you are not staying there? Or where would the kids be looked after by Disney for 1.5 hours?
There is a kids club at Grand Floridian for ages 4-12. It opens at 4:30 p.m. I think for the club at GF you have to be staying or dining there, but I would think having your wedding in the WP would count too . You can also look into this company: http://www.kidsniteout.com/
Mine was a little different- we had kids at the ceremony, but an adult only reception. Some of the parents at ours had 'kids nite out' watch the kids in their hotel room & some took them to the Sandcastle Club at the Yacht & Beach (the babysitting club) b/c it was the closest to the BoardWalk since the BW no longer has one. (all our wedding day events were held @ the BW ) The staff for both were wonderful. All the kids were really happy and the parents were gave rave reviews (even the one who didn't want to leave the kids!). And being a kid who was SO sad when I was too old for the Neverland Club at the Poly-(seriously, I was ) I can attest that Disney babysitting services are top-notch!
Also, just to clarify, Kids Nite Out is Disney's babysitting service (except for at the resort kids' clubs). If you hold a kids' party during your reception, Disney contracts with KNO to supervise it. If you get in-room babysitting at your Disney resort, that's also a contractor from KNO.
