Babysitting in Disney?

We are going in December with my 2 daughters 4 and 2 years old. We are also going with another family with 2 year old twins. We the adults would like to go out at night for dinner and Fantasmic, has anyone used the babysitting that is available in the resorts? Also what so they charge and how do I go about contactin them?

We recently used Kids Night Out. We recommended a female sitter for our DD-8 and DS-4. We had a little old lady, who's been doing the Disney sitter biz for 23 years. She was great and our kids were very happy. She came equipped with crafts, books, etc and she sat with the kids while they watched the bedtime stories on the WDW special channel. You can find the contact number by searching for child care on the Disney site. It's a minimum four hour charge. We were out from 6pm to nearly 11 and it was over $100, with a $7 transportation charge. We also gave a $10 tip.

I have never used the babysitting services, but my sister has several times. She uses Fairy Godmothers, many of her friends and neighbors have used it also and all rave about the sitters.

We've used it and were very pleased with the service. It was expensive, but it was nice to get away with just my husband. Our sitter brought a big bag of age-appropriate toys and games with her. She was great.
