Hey guys,

We'll be visiting Universal Orlando for the first time this November.

I've gone through different threads but I'm still wondering about a few things.

I understand that they are not a lot of rides that we can do with a baby (we have a 3 years old and a 1 year old). Good thing, Universal offers Baby Swap too.

My question : is Baby Swap available at all rides with height restrictions?

Thanks in advance!

Just in case you didn't know child swap works well at Universal. The whole family enters the line together, and you can stay together almost to the front of the line. I really liked being able wait together and it goes much faster since the rider steps out of the car and is right near the swap.

Yes. Most rides have rooms inside where you can wait. Others have you go to the exit instead - that's for rides like Woody Woodpecker and Hippogriff that have no inside part for anyone. Also note that you can take your bag with you through the line on rides that don't allow bags as long as it isn't a metal detector ride. (RRR and Hulk use metal detectors). Just let the TM know when you head through. (Though, if they see the baby, they'll likely presume you're doing child swap).

One thing to note is that you can't take the stroller through the queue for baby swap. You might want to bring a baby carrier along for this purpose.

Awesome! Thanks for all your answers.

It looks like it's going to be easy to ride attractions without the kids :)

Just a FYI l, though your whole family get to walk together to the loading area, some queue lines, such as the Skull Island, the Mummy, Harry Potter's Escape from Gringoff and Forbidden Journey, are dark with sound effects which might be scary for little ones. The stand-by queue at Skull Island even has staff jumping out of a secret hidden space to spook you. (The express Pass line does not have that.) I have seen more than one crying kid in the child swap rooms which are dark as well. Nevertheless, If you don't want your kids to go through the queue with you, you can probably speak to the crew to see if your spouse is allowed to wait outside with ur kids or go through any other route to by pass the queue. I'm sure the crew will work something out for you.
