It's a high today of 22, and our building's heat isn't working. I'm about to send everyone home if they don't get it working soon. :cold:

Brrr! I'm a spoiled Floridian, if it's below 60, the heat's on :flower:

Hope they get it fixed for you soon.

brrrr, its very cold here too. Unfortunately I think the sensor for our home heat is on the other side of the house and yesterday dh had the electric space heater going so it was SO cold in the rest of the house! BRRRR. I sat with blankets and everything around me yesterday

Hope you guys warm up!

I'm telling you, Mal, those little lap blankets are the best Christmas gift ever!

It's freezing in here--I'm walking around like Linus. :rotfl2:

It's cold here today too. If it is really cold at your job please send those poor employees home. Last Christmas my old job lost heat for a month. It was BITTER cold here the whole time, highs in the teens, and that's without windchill. My job refused to close. (Well that was until the pipes froze and were falling through the ceiling. But that is another story.) You can only put on so many layers until you just can't move anymore. I feel for you and your employees, I've been there, done that. Please be nicer than my managers were and let them go home before they get sick.

Hoping the heat starts working soon! :wizard:

If it hits below 60, we're out of here. I actually had to do that a couple days last winter too.

The problem is, our landlord is about 132, and I think the cold air is preserving him. So he's not anxious to get the heat back on. ;)

Our heat/air conditioning doesn't work too well in my office - one half the floor is super hot so everyone is wearing short sleeved shirts and the other half is super cold and everyone has sweaters on. I am directly under an AC vent that runs 365 days a year. Needless to say, I spent $20 a few years ago on a space heater to keep me comfortable at work.

I t was 17 when I went to work this morning and I think it went up to mear 30 at some point today but oh was it cold, :earsgirl:

I wish it would hit 20. Man I hate winter. :cold: Wish so much that we could move to Florida. 60 sounds like a dream.
