Hi
i am off to dlp on Sunday with my 8mth old and have read that the restaurants provide baby food but just wanted to know if anyone knows roughly what the provide. i have read brought enough jars to take but making the bag so heavy so would be nice if i don't have to take them all
thanks
joanne

I've been twice with a baby and never found any baby food in any restaurants. They can eat free at buffets if they can eat the foods that is.

When we went with our 7 month old we took baby food with us, the pouches of plum baby etc as we were worried about jars smashing. We had to buy baby food once from the baby care centre but they only sold pureed fruit and it was about 3 euros.

i would def bring from home, when we took dd as a baby and ran out the food that i ended up buying in was expensive and she refused to eat it! if you lo is on mashed foods or baby led weaned then i would stick to buffets where they will eat for free but it will be the same foods you eat.

When we went in March,my son was 8mths and he ate what we did, never seen a baby inhale a croissant so quickly!lol
Definately look at baby led weaning, lot easier(and cheaper!) :)

Thanks everyone
think i will just take all his food my son has bad reflux so have to take it slow with babyled weaning so he would starve all week bless him without his mashed food!
