Baby Fever!!!

I am reading all of the trip reports and the threads where parents talk about their kids (good and bad) and I get the warm and fuzzy feeling... I am having baby fever again.....

I am done with school and plan on spending the rest of my life with DBF (DFTW in the planning stages).... I am trying to wait until I am married even though I know I don't have to....

I would love to be a mother and I feel as though the time is soon, I just love reading about others and their little ones....

I have been where you are.....that Baby Fever is strong!

I had both my boys before getting married to their father (he asked when I got preggo with #1 and I said no...I didn't want to marry him just cause I was pregnant). We got engaged after DS #1, started planning the wedding and SURPRISE I was pregnant with DS #2! Both boys were at the wedding, the baby was only 3 months old (and I was skinnier than prebaby for my dress!!!!). They both wore baby tuxes.

*I* wouldn't change any of it as I am a firm believer in everything happens the way it is supposed to.

That being said....wait as long as you can.....have a nice nest egg saved in the bank as you never know what will happen. With DS #1 I was on bed rest the last 4 months, not working stank and we really took a hit financially. I'm not sure what you do for a living, but work OT if it is offered and put away as much as you can, cause once a baby is here you will want to spend as much time as possible with it.....it really stinks when yo uhave to work OT once your kids are here!
