we have been very busy this summer, a bunch of camping trips day trips, water park trips, hiking trips, relaxing at home and hanging out with family.
we have had a blast, but that then again we always do...if we arent having fun it is not a normal day for us.
i only have a few pics with me right now, but they are of the most recent things we just did so parker is the oldest in them...
here we go.
these first ones were from when we went up to northern michigan mackinaw island.
if you have never been, they only allow foot, bikes, and horse traffic on the island, is is really a great relaxing place to go and visit.
here is the down town.
we rented some bikes that morning to ride around the island.
here is parker getting his helmet fitted by my sister.
there is most of our group riding around the island ahead of us. i think there was 16 of us in total on this day of the trip.
there are tons of spots to stop and go down to the beach and just take it all in as you ride around.
parker was holding on pretty tight and he fell asleep it was funny to see him knocked out, nothing would wake him up, we stopped and rested, had snacks he slept through it all.
after a while he woke up and we had a picture on the other side of the island that faces the mackinaw city bridge that connects the Upper michigan with the lower michigan.
the next day on the main land we went to discover park, it is a state park and did the tree line tour and zip line, it was a blast.
we were up in michigan for about a week and half, on the way home, while eating at burger king i had to take a pic of the big boy in his crown.
isnt he cute.

You both look like movie stars - how fun you got the red carpet treatment! Too bad JD wasn't there!
hopefully next year. We would go back in a tent but no longer than 3-4 days - hard to keep things cold in a cooler. I love that tri-pod thing you guys had over the campfire! Very cool.
