So we get a flyer in the mail for Don pablos.
For those of you who have never heard of it, it is a mexican restraunt that is americanized like so many other great americanized restaurants out there, including olive garden.
Well the flyer says it has all you can eat enchiladas, well where do i sign up at?
DW comes home from work yesterday and i tell her to get on her sunday best her man is taking her out.
We take get our free chips and salsa give the good man our enchilada order and we are off to the races.
Now DW kept up with me enchilada for enchilada on the first 3 that they gave us....We both say give me a refill...2 more beef for the man, and 2 more chicken for the little lady.
The funny part was that when the waiter left the table, i look over at DW and she is untying the string on her pants, I look at her face she is smiling and said, " Just making room ahead of time." and laughs
I married so well...i loved that woman more in that moment that ever before, she undid her pants to make more room.
So I knew that I had my work cut out for me, there is no way I was gonna let that tiny little lady baby in belly and all out eat me.
I dig right into my beef enchilada and quickly take down the first one before DW has time to eat half of hers.
I am getting a little worried she looks like she is barely breaking a sweat...
I calmed down a little when she set her fork down between bites, that is good news for me, that means she is getting full, and that i have a chance to out eat her tonight.
So I eat the second one, and my total is at 5....she eats a few more bites and is settling at 4...I wait for it and yep she puts her napkin over top of the last one.
That means I win.
and baby and mommy even together have not beaten me at an all you can eat yet...i might have my work cut out for me in the ninth month, i better start training a little more right now.
