Baby Bunny Help??

Ok so long story short..my cat brought a baby bunny into our house twice..once last week. Once this week. It's the same rabbit..we let the other one go outside (we live out of town) and my cat Heather brought the baby bunny back last night at about 11:30..anyway. She's not being mean or anything. She's trying to care for it as a kitten.

But my question is....How much do you feed them? It's smaller than my hand. My mom gave it some clovers and grass this morning and some lettuce after school. Just wondering.

I can't remember but I think my BFF fed her bunny 2 times a day - morning and night. With treats throughout the day.

i'm not sure if we're keeping it or taking it to the rescue place out of town. we're going to try to take care of it for a little while just so it's bigger.

I have a bunny =]. Here's my knowledge:

Do NOT feed her iceberg lettuce. If you feed her lettuce, romaine is the best but butter lettuce is good too. Don't give her too much lettuce because it can cause diarreah. Carrots are good for bunnies, so are apples, parsley, cilantro, and plain dried bananas (most dried bananas have additives though). My bunny likes dried bananas but not fresh ones.

You should go to a pet store and buy her some rabbit pellets and alfalfa hay. If you plan on keeping her, don't give her alfalfa for her entire life, only while she's a baby. When she gets older give her unlimited timothy hay and alfalfa hay as a treat because it can cause diarreah in adult rabbits.

I don't know if you plan on keeping her as a pet, but if so you will need a cage or if you want her to be a house rabbit a litter box. Don't use can't clumping litter because rabbits can eat it and it can kill them. Don't use cedar or pine shaving either, those can harm rabbit's livers if they eat it and can also irritate their skin. I use aspen shavings for my rabbit's litter box, but paper pellets and carefresh bedding is good too.

Right now she's in a little laundry basket with a towel, some water and romaine lettuce and don't worry, we've got the door shut in that room to keep our cats away
