My dog was very interested in something and sniffing around near the side of the house.I just thought he saw a snake and was amused by that. about 10 minutes later I walked over and saw a very little baby bird on the gound near its nest. I was so upset that it may be dying. but it was breathing. I put on a pair of gardening gloves and did the best I could to get it back in the nest as it was in a tricky spot. There was another baby bird in there chirping with its mouth open to eat.
I hope all this little baby needed was to get back in the nest and has a second chance at life. I will check the ground again in the morning. I hope it wasn't tossed from the nest because it was sick.

Keep your fingers crossed for it.
