While Mom and Brooklynn went in to beat the crowd and get us checked in, I got the luggage off of the ME bus. It worked wonderfully, because we were heading toward our room by the time most of the group was standing in the line to get checked in.
Here's a picture of how All-Star Music's tree was decorated.
We were assigned to Broadway building #8, room 8642. We walked out toward the pool, and it was a very happy place to be. There were people in the pool and people sitting in front of a huge screen that had been set up right across from the hair braiding station. They were playing "The Santa Clause", and it was just a beautiful night weatherwise.
When Brooklynn saw the pool, she said, "Wawa," and pointed and headed toward it. We let her see it for a second, but then we were off, because we wanted to get into Magic Kingdom for at least a minute or two just to say we'd been there on Christmas Day.
We walked toward our room, and in doing so we went through a pretty little fountain/courtyard. It was too dark to get a good picture of it at that time.
"Wawa," Brooklynn said as soon as she spotted it. Her little feet sped up. She loves water. She loves water in pools and in fountains. We would come to discover that she has a build in radar for water and can find even small puddles from a mile away.
We pretty much dropped off our luggage and turned right back out the door to catch a bus.
This was the view looking across the street from our building.
As we went back by the fountain and the pool on the way out, Brooklynn had to stop once more to point them out to us.
"Let's go, Brooklynn. We have to go see Mickey Mouse."
"Mi Mou," she said, and off we went.
We did make it here.
We discovered that Santa had stopped here and left lots of goodies.
After just walking into a couple of shops, we decided to get a spot for Spectro. We sat right in front of the choo choo train so that we could make a quick exit after the parade was over.
We ate Casey's hot dogs and fries as we watched.
Then we just went on back to ASMusic to get a decent night's sleep so that we could open Magic Kingdom the next day.
The musical theme was all throughout the resort in the trees, wreaths, and other decorations. It was very pretty.
In the foyer outside the gift shop and food court, there was a row of cute little houses.
This is the inside of our room before we unpacked.
We had had a very full day, and the thought of a full night's rest was a good one. So, with ear plugs in, Brooklynn settled with paci and blankie, and Mom with a pillow over her head to soften the roar, we all went to sleep.
"Night, night, Brookie."
The last little voice in the dark was, "Ni ni."
