THANK YOU....

19 days and I will be walking in those doors saying "I am home". then the doors close and they say stay away. :rotfl2:

The pics are absolutely gorgoeous. I love the resort it is so pretty.

That pic of Trent I think is the first pic without a hat on. I almost did not recognize him. :lmao:

Brooklynn looks so cute sitting on the seat on the plane. How nice that she slept most of the way.

I passed through that airport once and I loved those rocking chairs. I had to sit in one cause it looked so nice.

Thanks for the posting.

MeMom you're home Yay!!

How was your ME experience? We are using it when we go and as it is the only thing that I have not experienced it is a small worry for me. I'm a control freak sometimes:confused3

The pictures are great! I am looking forward to seeing more, to keep me in suspence until we got to leave! only 23 more days:cool1:

Hope you and your family have a very HAPPY NEW YEAR

Oh I just loved the POR pics...we stayed there last June! I love the pic of sleeping Brookie! Awwwww :cutie:

Welcome home and HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! Brooklyn is adorable! Looking forward to hearing about if you liked ASMU after staying at Pop so often.

While Mom and Brooklynn went in to beat the crowd and get us checked in, I got the luggage off of the ME bus. It worked wonderfully, because we were heading toward our room by the time most of the group was standing in the line to get checked in.

Here's a picture of how All-Star Music's tree was decorated.

We were assigned to Broadway building #8, room 8642. We walked out toward the pool, and it was a very happy place to be. There were people in the pool and people sitting in front of a huge screen that had been set up right across from the hair braiding station. They were playing "The Santa Clause", and it was just a beautiful night weatherwise.

When Brooklynn saw the pool, she said, "Wawa," and pointed and headed toward it. We let her see it for a second, but then we were off, because we wanted to get into Magic Kingdom for at least a minute or two just to say we'd been there on Christmas Day.

We walked toward our room, and in doing so we went through a pretty little fountain/courtyard. It was too dark to get a good picture of it at that time.

"Wawa," Brooklynn said as soon as she spotted it. Her little feet sped up. She loves water. She loves water in pools and in fountains. We would come to discover that she has a build in radar for water and can find even small puddles from a mile away.

We pretty much dropped off our luggage and turned right back out the door to catch a bus.

This was the view looking across the street from our building.

As we went back by the fountain and the pool on the way out, Brooklynn had to stop once more to point them out to us.

"Let's go, Brooklynn. We have to go see Mickey Mouse."

"Mi Mou," she said, and off we went.

We did make it here.

We discovered that Santa had stopped here and left lots of goodies.

After just walking into a couple of shops, we decided to get a spot for Spectro. We sat right in front of the choo choo train so that we could make a quick exit after the parade was over.

We ate Casey's hot dogs and fries as we watched.

Then we just went on back to ASMusic to get a decent night's sleep so that we could open Magic Kingdom the next day.

The musical theme was all throughout the resort in the trees, wreaths, and other decorations. It was very pretty.

In the foyer outside the gift shop and food court, there was a row of cute little houses.

This is the inside of our room before we unpacked.

We had had a very full day, and the thought of a full night's rest was a good one. So, with ear plugs in, Brooklynn settled with paci and blankie, and Mom with a pillow over her head to soften the roar, we all went to sleep.

"Night, night, Brookie."

The last little voice in the dark was, "Ni ni."

Oh I gotta travel with you people! All that travel and you still managed a parade and hotdog and fries...how perfect! So funny about the wawa radar:rotfl:

sounds like a great way to end the arrival day. earplugs, that kills me. :rotfl2:

Ok- what did I miss? What was so loud? Do you snore? :surfweb:

Welcome Home MeMom -- and Happy New Year. I got home about 4:30 this morning from my trip to the caribbean... I am super tired. I cannot wait to go home and sleep... lol
Your pictrues are amazing as usual. I am hoping to get back to my report tomorrow.
Brooklynn is way too cute. I love when babies start to talk.

Hi Ladies, I have not read thru the last million pages yet but plan on starting this afternoon when I have free time....I am sure it will be great as always...hope you had a blast over the Christmas Holidays at home and in Disney...

Great pics MeMom! We couldn't see the middle part as you enter MK when we went because they had the stage built there for the taping of the Christmas Parade, so it was cool to see those decorations. :) ASMu looked more deocorated than POP did.

Ok- what did I miss? What was so loud? Do you snore? :surfweb:

It has been RUMORED that I snore. I probably have sleep apnea (sp?), because I wake up often during the night gasping for breath and feeling like I have cotton shoved halfway down to my lungs. My kids tell me to go to the doctor, but I'm not big on doctors.

wannago2disney - We spent about twenty minutes on the ME bus at the airport, and we were the second stop to be dropped off. It worked out just fine. When we came back, they gave us a pick-up time that Jill felt was a little too close to our flight time, considering all the Christmas traffic, so she called and had us put on a pick-up one hour sooner. It was no trouble at all, and we got to the airport in plenty of time. Hopefully, you won't have any problems with it.

twob4him - We were just very glad she slept coming and going. That way, she didn't have to be uncomfortable with air pressure changes, and she didn't get restless having to be confined to a small area. It worked out nicely, except that it was kind of hard to keep her awake without being fussy after we got to the airport. She rubbed her eyes a lot during the last hour's wait and was a little cranky, but not bad considering how off schedule she was.

kaysmommie - I hope you got my PM about Music. We liked it very well, and we would not hesitate to stay there again.

punkin413 - We took bets at the Nashville Airport about what room we would get, since we had made no requests. I chose Broadway, because I think it's cool looking, so I was glad when we were assigned there. The taxi out on the walkway/street adds to the fun.

scottny - They aren't just regular earplugs, they're mega earplugs. She has a whole pack. She thinks she's quite humorous when she pulls them out. Funny thing is, Brooklynn seems to be able to sleep just fine with my alleged snoring, and she has no earplugs.

snowbell - I definitely want to see pictures of your latest trip I'm sure it was beautiful there. What's your next travel adventure?

pooksma - Don't laugh at Jill's comments. It just encourages her! :) And she doesn't need encouraging when it comes to making fun of me!!! She has the eye-rolling/"you're a dork"/"I'm not with her" look and attitude down very well. But, even with a dorky mom, she still likes going back with me, so I guess I haven't crossed the line yet.

5boyz - Have you got that summer trip booked yet? We're set for June 28th - July 6th at Pop again. Maybe we'll see you out by the table at the pool sometime if any of your days overlap ours.

LurvvtheDuck - Everything in sight was decorated so nicely. When we came back to the outside world, it all looked very plain!

carrieannie, declansdad, scottny, VandyFan10, GorshGoofy, and anyone else I've left out - Thanks for the well wishes. We did have a great time, and it was nice to spend so much time with Brooklynn. I miss her toddling around jabbering. Jill said she was walking around the house yesterday saying MeMom over and over. It is just overwhelming sometimes how you can just look at your kids and grandkids and just tear up because you love them so, so, SO much! I hope that during our Disney trips we are making memories that all the kids will treasure for many years to come.
