What an awesome trippie and pre-trippie wrapped up in one! I love those last pictures of Brooklyn on her first birthday! I hope your new camera "behaves". Did you say that you said you would do the next trip report on a new thread or were you speaking of your fall trip? Glad summer school is almost over. Enjoy your trip and we will be right here waiting for you to return!!!
We are starting a new thread for this trip, for sure. When we decide on a title, we'll put in our signatures. I'm leaning toward
A Ten Day Ride on a Magic Camel, since that's what Brooklynn calls Magic Kingdom, but I don't know what Jill has decided. We've tossed around several ideas.
Kristina - I'd love to do a webcam! I'd love to just bring you all along by carrying a live feed video report from every park. From your home or office, we could ride the rides, see the shows, and (I know
declansdad and
GorshGoofy will be thrilled) we could all shop together!!!
Nicole - You are exactly right. It has been a great year! I'll never make six trips in a year again in my life, I'm sure. We have had some awesome times together! We have truly, truly been blessed to have been able to do this. Now we'll be more reasonable and make it at least once a year, but hopefully two to three times a year.
micandminforever - I call 'dibs' on Brooklynn's first ride on Soarin', too! I know she will love it! Unfortunately, two bars away is still quite a while.
scottny - It is fun to share Soarin' with anyone for the first time. I hope he enjoys it! What's your count now - 75?
HappyElf - Glad you are enjoying it. It is almost over, but we'll rev it up again when we get back!
Megablocks -Wasn't everything so beautiful at the Flower and Garden Festival? I was sorry that we didn't have to stay and see it all, but we had to get going.
declansdad - I'll take lots of pictures to get you through July, and then it'll be time for you to go!
Why don't you make you and Ma a countdown calendar?
Oh, wait...you can't do that! This trip is a secret.
It could be a little hard to 'splain a big poster full of Mickey heads with numbers on them!!!
How about that 2009 trip that Declan's helping to plan? Is he choosing the resort for that one? I'll bring you back some POFQ pictures for this time. That's where you're staying this time, right?
DISUNC - Since Saratoga Springs is the only resort I have not seen in person, it is on our list of things to do this trip. Jill and John visited there last summer, but I didn't go. I'll PM you, and if there's a time you'll be just hanging out by the pool or just at the resort, maybe we can come by and meet a lime green Dis friend. We don't want to interrupt any of your plans, so no big deal if you don't have the time - just if it happens that you're doing nothing for a few minutes, we can plan to come by then. You know what we look like, too, so if you look out your window and see a chubby little blonde toddler touring the grounds and three grown-ups trying to keep pace with her, flag us down.
TCKK - Thanks for the good wishes! I've been missing my daily pictures. I hope your kids are having a great time at their camps.
mama2girls - Our last summer's trip was one that had over a year long countdown, so I know how painful the waiting can be. I hope our pictures can help make it a little easier. I think we can carry you through about January between the three trips to come.
twob4him - We are hoping to meet the famous
DISUNC at his Saratoga home on our trip. Did you see the horse pictures
punkin413 put up on her report? They have pictures of a bunch of famous Disney horses, so we've got to go see those and let Brooklynn see the Donald water jet.
Lovemy3babes - Yes, I've tried the Beverly. It tastes like a very bad medicine. It's hard to believe that someone would pay money to drink it voluntarily. Jill is not a real Diser, though, until she drinks at least a tiny sip. She can't get her Dis Badge of Courage without tasting it, so until then, I say she's a rookie!
VandyFan10 - Quite different than the little girl you met, huh? She has flourished this year. We are blessed that she is a happy, healthy little one.
punkin413 - Yep, you're right. I'm always on the prowl for a good photo op. Jill long ago learned to just keep walking and I'd catch up with her later, and luckily Brooklynn has been cooperative so far.
You can go down with us in our suitcases, because I have plenty of room, however, on the way back, the bags will be full of enough Disney treasures to tide me over until November! You'll either need a plane ticket or some good walking shoes then, I guess!
