A childhood friend of mine is looking into a spring 2013 7 day Caribbean Cruise with a 2 yr old.

I know nothing about Disney Cruises.

It's gray here too and we had light snow this morning. Oh wait, it's snowing again. Yesterday it started to rain, but quickly turned to sleet. Then it started snowing and next came hail.

I'm working this afternoon. I was supposed to work tomorrow, but she asked her mother to take my place.

They do have play pens you can have brought into the room, though that doesn't leave a lot of room for walking (depending on what room they get.) When our youngest was little, we did the play pen. As she got older, we had her sleep on the couch with a bed rail brought from home. (DCL will provide diaper genies for the room!)

Room levels - if they are going on the Dream or Fantasy, the inner cabins would be fine for 3 and they have the cool virtual porthole. Otherwise, I'd go for a room with a porthole.

As for what a 2 year old can do... plenty. If they want a little adult time, they can pay for time at the nursery. We did this so we could eat at the adult restaurant and get a massage. DD loved it! (Kids are free in the kids club once they turn 3 and are potty trained.) The kids clubs also have open play time where the parents can go in with the younger ones. My girls both loved the stage shows, meeting the characters, and seeing movies in the theater. Non potty trained kids can not go in the pools, even with a swim diaper. There is a very fun water play area though for the younger kids (really fun on the new ships.)

Morning and HAPPY FRIDAY!!!

I've got Radio Buena Vista on Live365 and they are playing the Innoventions area BGM loop....I can close my eyes and I am there.... ::sigh:: Great way to start a Friday.

I'd love to take a Disney cruise someday. DH and I have discussed maybe doing it for our 25th anniversary, which is only 5 years away. MQ I will expect the fully written and published guide by then, 'k?...

So I'm trying to plan out my day off. Not sure if DH is going to come home and sleep for a bit so he can be up tonight with the boys, or if he'll do one of his marathon "I've been up for 30 hours" stints!! I'm going to get food shopping done, maybe go for a bike ride (depends on the wind, because it's only supposed to reach the upper 40s today. Blah). Laundry is nearly done and I'll probably clean the bathrooms and vacuum too, get it done before tomorrow.

I might clear off my desk and do some scrap booking this weekend, too. I haven't done it since I finished the pics from my solo trip, because the other pics I was working on are from '09 (I scrap book photos of the boys chronologically) and we were just settling into TX and to be honest, it's been hard for me to look at those. But, I think maybe I can do it now. I just want to get scrappin' and that's all I have to do!!
