What a small world! My youngest's birthday party is next Saturday. I invited her whole class and a had her hand out invitations to people she likes at her new after-care. She kept telling me this one little girl was going to go and that I was friends with her mother. I told her I had no idea who her mother was and that I wouldn't count on the girl being there until her mother talked to me. Got an email from the mom tonight. Turns out, I do know her mother! I used to work with her many years ago at a TV station in town. Guess I need to tell DD that her friend was right.
Sons aren't so good at listening some days, either.

I guess going to school with odd colored hair taught her a lesson. Today she came home and begged me to bleach it and re-color it. The bleaching seems to have worked. She currently has purple on the underneath of the bottom half (since most of it was used up yesterday) and bubble gum pink on the top of the bottom half. I plan to post pictures on FB if it comes out. And if it doesn't, she better get a good grade on her next test or she's stuck with it until her grades get up.
Morning gals! How's everyone?Another "warm" day on tap here, although mixed with some showers. That's ok, I'll still take it. Back to work for me. DS10 is home sick, poor kid. I would really like to get sickness out of this house once and for all this season!!!!! Blah.

There's a gigantic dog in your new kitchen?I like the look, especially the lack of a stove. Makes it easier to skip cooking dinners.....
Hi guys. Slow around these parts.
Not so happy to report that it's snowing. Luckily it won't amount to much, but not exactly a welcome sight.
