Babnanas 11: "Boo-boo's are OUT, Toast is IN….

Seeing that we're sharing pictures....

Conditions were favourable for a little Aurora spotting this week. Not visible to the human eye; but this is what I tweaked on the camera.

Howdy y'all.... :surfweb:

Gray, rainy day here in New Hampshire. I have the day off because I am working tomorrow (solo for the first time!). I got my food shopping done this morning and a few household chores, and while there is more I should do, it's one of those days where I want to just curl up on the couch!!

YoYo
, how are things going down your way?? I hope they are finally on the upswing. :grouphug:

Thanks, LegoMom3. It's raining again today, and the Columbia area, as well as my county, is under a flash flood watch. I'm praying the skies clear quickly! They're expecting the Tide Loads of Hope people in Columbia, Charleston and Myrtle Beach today. The generosity of so many people towards those affected by the floods in South Carolina will not be forgotten or go unacknowledged.

LegoMom3, gorgeous photos! I look forward to seeing more of the fall foliage. Heaven only knows, we'll probably go right from summer foliage to no leaves.

PIO, beautiful! I'm hoping to join one of my photography groups the next time they go out for a Milky Way shoot. Have you tried doing star trails yet? I have the equipment, but haven't tried yet.

I'm gearing up for the parish Christmas Market in November. My house looks like Tinkerbell during Mardi Gras: giltter, beads and baubles everywhere as I try to make some ornaments and decorations to sell at the Market. pixiedust:

It depends on whether you mean a very long exposure shot or whether you are using post production stacking (and an intervalometer to take the pictures automatically).

I haven't done the latter but I did get some star trails using a 80 minute exposure. I haven't gone back to taking another one yet. Good luck with your shot. Will be interested to see how it turns out; especially if you are using the intervalometer and stacking the pictures post-production! I need to learn how to do that.

I-20 at the Two Notch Road exit. Two Notch Road is a major road in Columbia. I used to work not a mile from here. Taken from a SC Department of Transportation camera on the interstate.
