Wow, PiO, look at your little gardening self!! Go you! I am envious..... can't grow anything that cool here. I tried a small veggie garden this summer and the only thing that really worked was grape tomatoes and green beans. It wasn't a good spring for prep, to be fair, but it's still discouraging.

Next spring I am thinking of getting chickens again. I will "garden" some small livestock.

Hey ya'll.

Well..... She is married. I can't even tell you what I am feeling right now. The day was perfect. 68 degrees and sunny. The wedding was beautiful!! She was such a beautiful bride. And we are so proud. And happy.



And thank the Lord that I have a Disney trip to focus on.
We have a new normal to learn how to live with now.... An empty house.
Hubby and I are excited about this part of our lives. So... to all of you that are facing this..... hold on. It can be a bumpy ride. But, its all good!!

This has me wanting cherries so badly. I love, love, love them!!
Looked at some in the store today and they didn't look so great so I bought grapes instead. Grapes ARE NOT cherries.

TGIF...... So. Tired. At least tomorrow I get to go to the job I really like. Although reeeaaallly hoping I don't have to work there Christmas Eve!.....it'll be my first day off since the day after Thanksgiving. I'd like to stay home and just bake all day.

Life here is S-L-O-W-L-Y returning to [our version of] normal. Long road ahead but at least we're all here, safe and sound. Tomorrow evening I get to go out and do all my stocking shopping (quite literally, since I can't find our stockings, ANY where!! It's a mystery for sure.... ). I'm excited, finally, for Christmas.

The ones I buy are also darker. But the variety I have in my garden is eaten red. Besides, the weather was becoming more humid and if I didn't pick them, they would have turned a bit mouldy.
