I'm here. As I explained in earlier post, router issues. For some reason, it's been working better today. Still slow, but better. Really need to get a new router.

I hope all is ok in the kimmar world.

Ugh. Modems and routers. I wonder if that's part of the problem with mine sometimes? The modem is about 2.5 years old (and I've already been told by a tech person from the manufacturer that it's pretty well obsolete.... ). And I've had the router even longer (got it while in TX, so that would likely be sometime in '10). Oh well, gonna have to do for a while longer.

Our router is years old. It's the only one we've ever had and got it so my daughter could do schoolwork at home if she brought home the school laptop. She is now 22. I'd say it's long past time for it to be replaced. I get very frustrated when I click on something and it never loads. I have to exit out and walk away before I toss it out the window.

Morning nanners!

A nice frigid -1* start to my day here in Cold-Hampshire.

In other news, I should be in my new Explorer tomorrow! Transferring the registration this evening and then DH will get it inspected tomorrow morning. I've loved driving my dad's truck but it'll be so nice not to have to do contortions to fit grocery bags in behind my seat!! Now I can just lift the back hatch and voila.....cargo space.

This weekend it will get a thorough cleaning inside. I do wonder if it's ever been done....

Great news about the Explorer. Hope that the cleaning isn't too bad.

Hey ya'll

I'm sorry I haven't been around for... EVER.

But sometimes when your world is shaken you just have to step back. We have had so many things hit our family. Some really serious ... our latest one is my husband. He has A-Fib and the beginnings of congestive heart failure. As well as having a valve replacement in his near future. This man is so healthy and active. This was a TOTAL shock. So needless to say, it turned our world upside down. But as a family we are survivors!! You might knock us down.... But you don't knock us out!! We are strong in our faith!! Well anyway, this is why I have been AWOL. It seems like every time we start to weather one thing...............

So, to any of you that are dealing with "stuff" right now. Gather your family close, hold on. And most importantly.... Stand STRONG!!
