B2B with GTY rooms...how does it work?

We are planning our first B2B in late April (we are last minute cruisers!) and I had a few questions I hope someone can answer.

We are planning to book OGT rooms if they are still available in a week when we can book because of cost. Is there a chance we could actually luck out and get the same room on both cruises so we don't have to pack and move? With two kids that would be so nice! Can we ask our TA to help with that or is it really luck of the draw?

If not, how does it work when you disembark and re embark? I saw someone say their luggage appeared outside the new room door? Do you pack the night before and DCL takes care of it or...?

We will hopefully be sailing on the Magic. Does the B2B reboarding process take a shorter time because the ship holds less people or will we still pretty much be waiting until 11? And how does breakfast work disembarkation morning? Do we go with the last group to eat?

Thanks in advance for any answers...I'm excited!! :)

Yes, there's a chance you could luck out and get the same room. There's probably a greater chance that you'll have different rooms. If you book a guarantee room, you agree that DCL can place you wherever they wish, no requests.

We had to have our bags packed and give them to our room host on debarkation morning by 9:00. The room host sees that your bags get to your next room. I believe our bags were placed inside our new room, but can't really say for sure.

You go to your "normal" breakfast seating (based on your dinner seating) and you must be off the ship by a certain time (generally by 9:00). Whether you will be able to board again quickly (within an hour) or have to wait a couple of hours, varies cruise to cruise. No way of saying.
