I can't believe how many trip reports on the 2/03 cruise, I have to admit it was a great cruise(our 9th & 10th Disney Cruise). We left four people on St Thomas, I don't know if it was the whole family or just those four people they were paging repeatily for 15 minutes before sailing. We were very surprised and pleased about the NO SMOKING signs that were posted on the starboard side and both sides around Mickey's Pool. On our 9/30 & 10/03 cruises I must have said something to 20 smokers, this trip just one. GOOD JOB DCL. Our flight was late out of Philadelphia and by the time we got to the port our boarding pass was #25 Do you believe it I didn't think Mickey could count that high, I thought it would be 8pm before we got on. Our room Host was Beverly Her birthday was the day after our 36th anniversay. She was a real gem, she quickly learned our habits and the room was always ready for us. Our Table servers were not great on this cruise, I hate it when they give you a speech every night about how there doing, must be insecure, the server on the second cruise was fabulous Densak from Thailand and Beethoven from india. Very entertaining and funny. We dined with another couple on the first cruise, very nice and both worked for Disney. The second cruise we had three couples at our table, my wife wants me to mention a problem we had. We were assigned to a table of 8 within a group of 18 people traveling together(whos doing the dining assignments), we felt very uncomfortable and asked to be moved, they moved us to a table by ourselves and again I went to the head waiter and he looked around and got us a great table. Sunday morning we bought Sweater coats but by 1:30 it was warm. As our usual we camped at the adult pool, we forgot about the DIS meets on both cruises but talked with many people that recognized us from our photo. I think it was Jackies(teaggles) DD who came up to us at the Castaway Cay gathering and wished us a happy anniversary, we were blown away, we asked her how she knew and she said, I read the cruise thread and remembered your picture.
I made no notes so this is all from memory.
Our favorite port is St Thomas. We found a great jeweler who has great pricing and exceptional items, we have purchased several things there. This time I bought a 3 carat Sapphire & Diamond ring a real beauty for our 36th Anniversary.
Time for bed will return
