B I N G O

Thanks Michelle for all the good information on the size of the jackpots, how many people were there, etc. etc.

It sounds like fun so I am definitely going to go play Bingo on the Wonder!!!
I like a good game of Bingo. Haven't won big yet, but I'm an optimist. You can't win if you don't play.

Keep those Bingo stories coming.

I played PJ bingo and the jackpot bingo. The highlight of my PJ bingo was the strawberry drink I ordered (it was that good) and the highlight of the jackpot bingo - well for me there wasn't a highlight (except I was one number away from filling up my card - me and like 20 other people so odds were against me - btw jackpot was like 4200).

I do agree that the amount of games they play for 35.00 is quite low - for us that was just 4 games. I'm torn between doing it again or not as 35.00 a card for 0 games won (we had 3 total cards we bought over the trip) well just not that exciting for me.

DW and I play ingo on just about every cruise we go on. We're hoping we can cut back on our addiction on our upcoming cruise. $35, x2 people, x2 times a day, x 4 days, plus extra jackpot bingo cards gets pretty expensive.

On our Honeymoon cruise (December 13, 2003), we WON the Jackpot game. We were the only winners and it was one of the largest jackpots they've had (and probably will ever have). it was $6200.00 - YES, 6 THOUSAND 2 HUNDRED dollars!!!!! It more than paid for our next 2 cruises. OK, you can hate me now for that....

The worst part about winning that much money was they gave it to us in CASH!! and in $100 bills !!! And then what were we going to do with it all till we got home and put it in the bank??? We paid our ship board bill in full, then split the rest between us and then split that between different pockets, wallets, fanny packs, carry on bags, stuffing it into our socks, and the wife out some in her bra. Luckily Homeland Security or Customs stopped us and asked to search us - they would've thought we were smugglers !!! LOL

I don't like the new bingo cards. The single card you get is extremely stiff and its very hard to punch and fold the numbers then have to unfold for the next game. People were asking Pikey to slow down as it takes longer to punch out your numbers.

That is fantastic advice that on the last game to fold the numbers the other way.

I miss the old lighted bingo board. The new one is just too high tech for me.

A good tip that worked for us - roll the card into a tube both horizontially first then vertically - this actually "loosens" the numbers so its easier to punch them out.

Excellent - that would make the paper less stiff. Thanks a bunch. :thumbsup2
