*B* Exchange Sent/Received!!

Yeah...........we are receiving packages daily!!

Yes Sally.........you are right 7 TO GO!!! I believe all packages are mailed.......so be on the lookout for your postman to bring a special delivery to you!!

No "B" Package for my son yet. We havent received any mail yet today, but so far no package for him. I guess my problem is with the kids, and I cant speak for all kids, can only speak for mine. I think its more important for them to get theirs quicker then adults. Ok, just my personal opinion and Im not trying to start an arguement. I got my B package awhile ago and it was wonderful. Of course I shared with my son as he was asking "When will I get mine?".
I just dont think its fair to make the kids wait...And, I think us adults need to keep that in mind when we are mailing to a child.

In some instances, "C" for example, we will be mailing our "kid packages" later because while I have already bought mine, my DS's are waiting to see if they're sending to boys or girls before they shop. Just something to keep in mind when looking for your packages. I don't know if anyone else thinks that way or not, but we do. For most of the exchanges I've done, I like to wait and see who I'm sending to before I shop.

I have to tell everyone about the most wonderful package me and my DS and DD got today.
Because of a mix up we were not included in the "B" exchange.
Kimber79 explained the mix up and we certainly understood.
She has had so much going on in her life.
Anyway, she felt so bad for the kids. (I understand Jackie824.)
She sent a wonderful box of lots of things....
Bowls,
4 Balls,
Butterscotch Candy
Blue Jeans Memo Pad
Butterfinger Candy
Bank (My DD took this over since it has "M's" on it)
Blow up Basketball
Stuffed Bear
Big Red Gum

I have an idea. This may help those with kids.
In my case I have children too.
What if we did a family box???
If someone has children they can exchange with another
person who has children and both send a "Family Box"
This can include items for everyone in one box.
The cost wouldn't be increased because you are still sending the same amount of exchanges. They are just going in one box.
This way all the kids will get their exchange at the same time.
It will only affect those that are doing exchanges with kids???
What do all of you think?

candylover ~ ~ that sounds like a good idea to me........sometimes kids like to get their "own box", but I know it is hard for them to have to wait for it. I will check with other organizers to see what they think!!

You are very much welcome! When I mess up.........I make it right!! I can't have someone in my exchange (well......someone that was supposed to be in my exchange ) go without a special delivery! I'm glad it arrived and everyone enjoyed the surprise!!

Im sorry for causing trouble with the exchanges for the kids. I was obviously just speaking for myfamily. I will just learn to only sign myself up for exchanges as I do enjoy them. I guess Im just a softie as I feel bad for my son as he saw me open my package over a week ago...Please dont change the rules on the account of me.

Yes, I mailed my package. I hope my person isn't too disappointed as I was in such a hurry to get it in the mail that my mind wouldn't and couldn't think of "B" items, so it's a small. I never thought of all the things that people are putting in their packages. I'm already planning the other letters to get more creative!!!!

Jackie..........you have NOT caused any trouble at all.

We would love to have Matthew continue to be in the exchanges. I am sorry that his package is not there yet. I understand how hard it is for children to have to wait for their packages. Maybe you can explain to him that a special friend that lives a long ways away sent it, and it just takes longer in the mail when it has to travel so far. I'm not sure how I can help ease his sadness, but please do assure him that a special friend has mailed his package and it will show up in the mailbox in the next any day now. We certainly want to *adjust* any way we can to accomodate everyone!!

Cindy........don't worry about it! Remember, there is a $5.00 limit, so all packages should be small!!!! My brain has a hard time functioning ALL the time...........I don't need to have that *just after vacation frustration* to make mine malfunction!!

I am sorry for the delay in the package. My dd was planning on a girl and we had already purchased her B items. Then all of a sudden she received a boys name. She was sort of upset because her items could not be sent to a boy and she had picked them out, but I explained to her that we can call them something else and send them later to a girl when she gets girls name.
I had been working so much overtime lately, it was my fault we didn't get to the store to get matthews stuff. We did only mail one day late. sometimes we need to be patient, sometimes things happen that delay the things we want. So when we did get to go shopping she had a ball looking for his stuff, took her over two hours because she wanted to buy all kinds of things. I think he will be happy with what Dd finally decided on.

So please tell Matthew we are sorry that it too a little longer, but he is so special she had to get the perfect gifts.

He should be receiving anytime now.

I am working on "C" and there are several people who have multiple family members signed up. I will try to keep those sending multiples sending to others with multiples, that way everybody can get their package at once and save a little on postage. I think a family package sounds great if we can make it work. I will do my best at making this work...not sure I can make it work for everyone though.
