Hi All!

We just got back from our first trip to Fort Wilderness and I can't wait to go back. We had the time of our lives.

While I was there we had a problem with our RV. Frank at Frank's Mobile RV was recommended to me by my neighbor and I gave him a call. Make a long story short, he was honest, fair priced, knowledgeable and he comes to you. Keep his number handy in case you ever have problems with your RV:

I tried him once in 2012 for some awning damage repair. He was already on site, but had several others to look at since there was so much damaged. He actually suggested Camping Connection to me because he knew they were there also and might get to me quicker. Nice guy, at leasthe was honest.

He called me back later to see if they were able to help me or if he still needed to come by. I kept his number, I see it hasn't changed.

Yeah he's funny. He is definitely honest. He wouldn't give me a definite on when he could get there, when most people would. But he followed up and came and fixed the problem.

It's nice to know that there are still honest hard working folks out there. Hope I never need to have the emergency repairs on my vacation but it's nice to know there is a good place to turn.

Have seen them at FW, but 'so far' have not needed a 'fix' while set up camping - but none of us ever know!!!

Frank came and checked my air conditioner. Found out it was a warranty issue and had to be handled through a dealer because the entire new unit had to be shipped in. He didn't charge a dime to check it. Funny guy and he seemed real honest.

Frank just helped us this weekend and he was affordable, honest and helpful. We've also used Camping Connection as well and have been happy with them.

In case anyone needs a machine shop while at the Fort, I just had Jim at Charles Sackett Repairs fabricate a replacement part for my Lippert Hydraulic setup. Lippert would not sell the part, but wanted me to pay $1,600 for the complete assembly. Jim made me two replacements of the part for $40.00. And he did it on Saturday! Their phone number is 407-298-5540. They're at 5500 Old Winter Garden Road in Orlando, 32811. He did great work at a great price. I was referred to them by Florida Metal Craft, who can do more general metalwork, including mobile work. FMC's number is 407-656-1100. I hope this info helps someone.
