Ok, I am probably being an enabler with this post, but I just had to share the wonderful deals that I got at Target today. I hadn't even planned on stopping there, since I feel like poo (nothing like ANOTHER upper respiratory infection), but I'm glad I did.
I went to the scrapbooking aisle to see all of the new papers, albums, etc. The new Marcella and Kay stuff is beautiful! But in order to put in all the new stuff they had to get rid of the old stuff, right? So I look on the end cap of the aisle... they had the Colorbok "Perfect Albums" for 30% off (both 8X8 and 12X12). Not cheap enough for me yet, so I didn't get any. Then I just start looking around. I go to the end caps where they put all the clearance stuff like photo albums, frames, etc. and BAM! There I found all kinds of stuff. Packs of cardstock with twenty-five sheets each on clearance for $2.44, buttons, epoxy tiles and domes, and some Jolee's embellishments. I picked up three packs of cardstock, some epoxy tiles, and some 8 1/2 X 11" office supply things that could hold stickers, die-cuts, or something (on clearance for $2.78).
I get to the checkout and the lady starts ringing up my stuff. Well, it turns out that the cardstock rings up at $.77 per pack and the epoxy tiles were only $.44 per pack!!!!! WOW!!!!
I am now just mad at myself that I didn't go back and get more tiles (I got all of the paper that they had)!
