Do you wear one? If not, would you wear one? Any thoughts at all? ( I'm asking this with a purpose, though I don't want to reveal that purpose just yet ).

EDIT: Do you have more than one? What about your kids?

I wear a pink breast cancer awareness bracelet because my mother, aunt and sister in law are survivors!

I don't wear one, and I probably wouldn't wear one, although I don't see anything wrong with wearing one. They seem like a faddish high school thing to me, which isn't bad, but I'm waaaaayyyyy past H.S. :earseek:

My son wears a couple of them (pink and yellow). Many of the kids at school wear whole armloads of them too. :flower1:

41 and I wear a yellow one. I have a client that has had several brain tumors and my BIL is going through chemo. for Stage III colon cancer right now. I got my kids Livestrong ones and the boys got Red Sox Nation ones in their Christmas stocking. They do seem fadish but I work some adolescents in addition to adults and they think it is cool that someone as old as me wears one!

I have a yellow livestrong one & I wear a pink breast cancer one becasue 2 of my best friends are survivors. My kids wear yellow ones & navy blue ones.....the blue ones support Mott's Children's Hospital at U of M.

I think I misunderstood you
I thought you meant a medic alert bracelet?
like if I had diabetes or something
I would wear one if I had a severe allergy, diabetes, etc.
I don't wear the young kid rubber bracelets my 9 1/2 yr dd wears those

Me too. A co-worker gave it to me. I'm not sure where she got it though.

They're sold out everywhere around here, but if I could find them you bet I would wear them. I'd wear the Livestrong ones and the breast cancer one. I've known several women who have lost the fight with breast cancer, and I know many many people who have battled cancer.
I think it is turning into a fad, but personally I would wear them whether it was a fad or not.

I would probably wear them too if I knew where to buy them as well.

My 3 girls and I all wear the Livestrong ones....................our cousin is fighting colon cancer!! My oldest DD wears the Red Red Sox Nation one............a fad!! but she is proud of it!!

I am looking to get the pink one as I am a daughter of a breast cancer survivor!!

I wear a LiveStrong yellow bracelet from time to time.
My Mom died of colon cancer in June and we asked for donations to the Lance Armstrong foundations in lieu of flowers.
I am not a fan of all the other bracelets, though.

No. I think they are gimmicky and I don't need to buy a bracelet to be aware of something.

Livestrong bracelets They've been on backorder for a while, but you can order the Livestrong bracelets here and you'll get them in a few weeks. I've been wearing mine since last June or July, and my parents and younger sister all wear them as well.

I wear the Livestrong bracelet and I'm older than 41 - by quite a lot. I wear it in honor of my nephew, "Boo", who was diagnosed with rhabdomyosarcoma at 4 years old and is now 13! I wear it also for my dear friend, Nancy, who is a cancer survivor. I wear it to remember my father and brother who both died of cancer. I don't give a damn about trendiness.

check gas stations and local corner stores
that is where we find them in PA
cheap too $1.19 ea

One of the hospitals near here has asked patients to cover their Livestrong bracelets. Seems they're the same color as the DNR bracelets and the hospital doesn't want to get them confused!

I am a cancer survivor and I don't wear one. But I think they are great! If it were something different and I didn't see them on everyone's wrist I may wear one. Hey, maybe I could wear it around my ankle.
