Avoid List!

Swiss Family Treehouse (extra walking... and for what? Nothing to see or do there. This must be the lamest attraction in the World)

Mission Space -never have ridden it and never will. I can tell by the descriptions that it is not for me

Sounds Dangerous -never have done that one either (sounds dull to me)

Stitch - boring!
Kali River Rapids on a cool day. There is a chance that you will get soaked to the skin.

Everything else I say is worth a try, if you don't have a long wait!

This is tough for me. I love the whole "being at Disney" experience. I can say that I have no desire to do Sounds Dangerous. We're big Drew Carrey fans, but the description of the ride just sounds like a snoozer!

As history buffs, we LOVE  Hall of Presidents. Never been to the Land.

My DH who had no opinion of Stitch before he rode the ride on our last trip, absolutely despises him after riding it! He goes through the Disney Store "shooting at" Stitch! :rotfl2: :rotfl: :rotfl2:

The only ride I have found not worth it is Dinosaur at AK. Our picture from the ride had me sitting with my arms crossed rolling my eyes at the Carnataur! It was actually pretty funny. All in all, I figure I'm at Disney, I'd rather be bored there that say perhaps sitting at my desk at work.

Avoid Kali River unless there is no line and you don't have anything better to do.

Sounds dangerous can be that wonderful place that you go to at about 2:00 when you are exhausted and need a little rest. :rotfl2: When everyone gets up to leave you will hear them and get up too. :cool1: Trust me, I have done it before. :)

It might also be that perfect place to get the babies to take a nap. Have not tried that one though. :sad2:

I've never done Sounds Dangerous & now I'm pretty sure I won't bother! There are quite a few that I haven't been on since I was a child and just don't view as worth the time anymore, though I wouldn't object to going on them.

Mission Space is a never again; not planning to see Indiana Jones again anytime soon. Tarzan Rocks! is the attraction I will absolutely never, ever do again---HUGE waste of time (it's so long...I could have seen FotLK). I also found Fantasmic! really, really boring and was depressed seeing bits of Illuminations over the top (I know Fantasmic! is popular, but it just didn't do anything for me AT ALL...too long on those water screens and not enough fireworks).

I'm a huge dork, but I LOVE the Jungle Cruise---mostly BECAUSE of the dumb jokes---and the skippers love me because I laugh enough for everyone. And Living with the Land is one of my all-time favorites. I'd stay on it all day if I could (or close to it).

Sounds dangerous seems to be the winner here, and I'd agree, we spent the whole ride wondering when the 'real' show would start. the only good thing is it's blissfully short!

could miss Ellen's energy adventure- Waste of time, and don't even find Ellen D very entertaining. What used to be in there? Seems like it was once better then this.

Conservation station in my opinion runs a close second to sounds dangerous for ways to waste time at the parks. Takes a lot of time to get there, and there's not much there, just an OK nature center you could find anywhere near you at home. Definately on our skip list.

I have to stick up for the tree house though, I still love it for nostalgic reasons. It was my favorite movie as a kid, and my parents stood on line with me for hours to see it. If nothing else, the 1970's engineering of the tree is worth wondering at. I wish I could remember what they called that kind of tree, some combination of concrete and a tree name. Wouldn't stand on line very long now to see it though.

I would do any ride if there was no line, with the exception of M:S if inclined to motion sickness.

I did Sounds Dangerous once. I was cool and dark and I got to sit down for a bit. It is a good place to head if you are hot, tired, or need to nurse a baby. When you leave there are some fun "Movie" machines to play with.

Astro Orbiter I did once too because there was finally a short time. The ride is nothing. The cars are very tight, but the view of the MK is great. We noticed that everyone coming down on the elevator looked miserable, so we got the people on our elevator ride to all laugh, smile, and talk about how great the ride was when we got off. One of the fun things about WDW is how willing people are to play along.

Country Bears I did once. All I can say is that it might be a good place to sit during heavy rain, but it might be better just to stand out in the rain. :sad2:

I like Tom Sawyer Island. It's not the place you want to be if you are short of time, but if you have the time it's fun. I told my kids that there were scary things in the cave before we went in. It was a pretty good joke since they are big kids. I would love to have been able to play in that fort as a child.

I also really like Ellen's ride and the Timekeeper.

But why has no one has mentioned the scariest, most horrible ride of all...Land of the Demented Dolls!!!

Tiki Room, somebody was mega stoned when this was cooked up. But great to duck a storm in

the tiki room-under new management. what a disappointment. i actually loved the original tiki room.

sounds dangerous doesnt interest me either from what ive heard im not going to it.

seeing indiana jones once in my life was enough for me-it wa sfun but id rather do something else-but my bf wants to see it so i will..

I forgot all about sounds dangerous until this post. I went on it a long time ago and it was horrible.
The last time I was at MK, my mom was dying to see the swiss family treehouse. It was park opening and this is the attraction we went to first :sad2: Well at least it was empty.

I have to add the family raft ride at TL to the list. The line is terribly long and the slide is terribly short.

Sounds Dangerous and Stitch - I'll try everything and anything once and most stuff more than that, but I wouldn't do these again.

For me: Just about all of AK except Kali.

At MK: We avoided Stitch

At Epcot: the rides in the countries - El Rio and Malestorm were very lame in my opinion.

At MGM - there's not anything I'd avoid!

OK - Please don't flame me, but DH and I HATE the parades! In fact, the last time we were in WDW, we walked right on to many of the popular attractions during the parades (Tower of Terror, etc.) - a nice tip we got from a guide book. Now that we have DD, I guess we'll have to sit through them in Sept....

I'll add my votes for Sounds Dangerous, Backlot Tour, Swiss Family Treehouse and Stitch. One I haven't seen mentioned is American Adventure. I suppose if you have the time and really, really want to see it, but once was enough for me.

I don't try to avoid the following, but they are ones that seem to get pushed to the bottom of the list and we don't make a priority to do. Granted we've done many of them at least once in the past: The LIttle Mermaid show in MGM, Ariel's Grotto (unless short line)... most of Toon Town (unless you have kids with you... even with kids, we often skip parts of this)... Jungle Cruise, Enchanted Tiki Room, Hall of Presidents, and the Chinese and Canadian shows in Epcot.

SF Treehouse, definitely! It's a long way to go for nothing!
And that barf-a-rama, MS! :scared1:
But the American Adventure is the one that really stands out, because it's about 25 years out of date. It has such potential, but they really need to update it. You'd think nothing had happened in this country for the last 25 years! :sad2:

i must chime in again with STITCH. it is stupid and there is no point and makes no sense. very disappointing.

I would avoid Journey into Imagination. This new version was such a disapointment, I had actually liked the old ride. This one is slow and boring, not doing much for imagination at all, and when they do the stinky smell, we all just about got sick. (It is MUCH worse than the stinkbug smell at ITTBAB).

THe Tiki Room is the same thing - the old version was so much better.

I disagree with the posters about "American Adventure" - I think that show is wonderful.

I love Honey, I Shrunk the Audience until the ending, which is why I don't go on it.
Having mice crawling all over my legs is not fun.
I can do ToT, Mission Space and RnR, but keep me away from those mice!!
Same thing for ITTBAB. :scared1: :scared1:
