Avoid List!

Astro Orbitorthere is just something about being up so high and tipping on your side. DH is delegate to take DD (4) on that ride since she really likes it.

Rio del Tiempo! (boring and embarrassing)

Mad tea (makes me sick)

Among others!

I never have to see Stitch, the Tiki Room or Swiss Family Robinson's Tree House again. I don't do any roller coasters, but that's a personal problem, not the quality of the attraction. I'm up for just about anything else every once in a while. I LOVE Kali River Rapids but only on a hot day when it doesn't matter if you get wet. Never worked up the nerve for Splash Mountain, though I did Test Track and liked it. I like all the hydraulic rides (Star Tours, Body Wars) as long as my stomach is in good shape and all the 3-D attractions. If I can only do one thing, it's Kalahari Safari (hence my name). It's different every time and I've seen so many enchanting sights, like baby elephants chasing and tumbling together as they play and giraffes two feet away from me. Sigh...that's the best. :flower:

Hall of Presidents
Living in the Land
Dumbo
Cinderella Caroussel
Astro Orbiter
(i´ll do the above if i´m with a 1st timer or with kids)

Mission Space, I will avoid for personal reasons :scared1:

Hey kids,

Country Bears, Mission:Space, Backlot Tour, Animation Tour, never even bothered with Sounds Dangerous, Primeval Whirl, and the Teacups if someone insists on spinning them with me in it!

Stitch's Great Escape. Once was definitley enough on this one!

Sounds Dangerous!!! It's not even THAT cool in the bldg! Serves no purpose other than to bore you!
The Backlot tour was really lame the last time we were on it (last year)...that needs to be update...Alot of MGM needs to be updated!

Stitch's Great Escape (can't stand Stitch...poor story line)
Cinderella's Carousel (like any other amusement park carousel...not worth waiting more than a couple of minutes for)
Rafiki's Planet Watch (long train ride and long walk to attractions that may or may not be in operation...only do this if you time to spare at AK)
Primeval Whirl (little theming and can you say Dizzy?)
The Boneyard (playground for little kids to let off steam...very hot inside)
Swiss Family Treehouse (long climb upward, with little to see...I think fans of the movie will be dissappointed)

Jungle Cruise, hands down. Corny jokes that need to be refreshed BIG time.

We walk right past the Swiss Family Robinson. As previous poster quoted, just a large flight of steps to see very little. Waste of time and energy.

Stitch´s Scape - Terrible
Astro Orbiter - Long wait not worth
Mad Tea - Dizzy
Robinson´s Tree House - only steps and nothing to see
The island in the back of Magic Kingdom - a waste of time
The Living Seas - go to Seaworld
Body Wars and Star Tours - makes me sick
Conservation Station - nothing to see

Sounds Dangerous
Country Bears (It's very hard to understand what they are saying)
Indy Speedway
Astro Orbiter

country bears-even my 8 year old found it boring.
primeval whirl-though i watch my kids ride it two or three times in arow.
indy cars-long wait, gas fumes.

Here's another vote for Stitch's Great Escape. I like Stitch, but the ride is bad, I hope there are some major changes for this attraction on the future.

I also skip Body Wars, Star Tours, and Astro Orbitor, not because they are boring, but because they make me sick.

On the Disney Property Primeval Hurl at AK, in the Blazing Sun was enough to total me for the rest of the day, and part of the following day.

Oh, TRUST me... it isn't NEARLY as bad as being on it in a torrential downpour! When we walked up to the ride, it was cloudy and dark but not raining. We pretty much walked right onto the ride. When we got to the part where you are waiting to go outside and "start" the ride. It started pouring! Like going into a waterfall and stopping. We couldn't open our eyes because the rain was hitting so hard. We were absolutely soaked from head to toe. Normally we enjoy the ride, but that was an AWFUL experience... and they didn't stop the ride either. When we got off the ride... yeah... it stopped raining. Needless to say, we were done for the day.

One ride to definately AVOID is Stitch's Great Escape... awful!

I really don't enjoy "Sounds Dangerous" My family never really got the point of sitting completely in the dark and the headphones not fitting well. Would avoid it, because there are way too many other neat things to spend time on. I would take that time to just sit and enjoy the park and atmosphere.

Ditto! :rolleyes2

While Mission Space is an incredible ride, I could never go on it again. I am claustrophobic and get panic attacks and the ride made me very dizzy and nauseous. It doesn't help that all the cast members tell you about 50 times before you get on not to look up, down, right, left or shut your eyes or you might get sick. My heart was pounding before the ride even started. For people who do not like to feel disoriented, stay away!

That all being said though, I think it is the most realistic experience for anyone who would like to be launched into space, so if you aren't bothered by dizziness or close spaces, definitely don't miss it.

Ellen's Energy Adventure: too long, too loud, too boring

Ellen is the only entertaining part of the show

Indiana Jones Stunt Show
Hall of Presidents (unless you're ready for a nap)

LMBO, you have just managed to nail 3 of my dh's favorite MK attractions on the head...Swiss Family, Tiki, and Hall of P! :rotfl:
